Located just 2 miles north of Fort Myers Beach, experience Southwest Florida like a local in Blue Oasis, our 2-bedroom 1 bath apartment overlooking a long Gulf Access canal. With 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and living room with 65” smart tv with streaming service, guests can relax in comfort. This adorable property features a full kitchen, bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, soap and shampoo perfect for freshening up after a day of exploring. Free WiFi, shared washers & dryers, and charcoal grills onsite. Enjoy balmy evenings and gorgeous sunsets on the screened porch with water views of the canals and basin while dolphins and manatees play and boats cruise by. Free use of onsite bicycles, kayaks and paddle boards (+ life vests, helmets & locks) - take a leisurely paddle through the mangroves and reach nearby Bunche Beach in about 30 minutes. Enjoy an evening gathered around the front yard wood fire pit, or in back there's a gas fire pit and Adirondack chairs to watch the lagoon wildlife illuminated by the glow of underwater lighting. Beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers are provided to make your vacation packing easy. Ft Myers Beach is a 5 minute car ride, with plenty of metered parking, or take the LeeTran Trolley which stops at the end of our street! Sanibel Island is 15 minutes away by car and Captiva just a bit further. Lots of nearby activities - baseball spring training, mini-golf, shopping, a variety of restaurants, outstanding beaches... We can even arrange for a day of boating and fishing with one of our recommended charter captains! The property was recently renovated so everything is new inside – and clean!! Turtle Cove is one of 4 private units in Siesta Dreams - perfect if you need room for larger groups - the property can accommodate up to 14 guests!

Excellent rental and very close to many attractions

We absolutely loved this place! It was very-well kept and decorated beautifully. We had the rare opportunity to meet the owner face-to-fave when we arrived; he was very friendly and even helped to unload our e-bikes from our truck.We took advantage of the kayaks available for guest use, with an entrance at the back go the mangrove canals. Fort Myers Beach was an easy bike ride for us from the rental, as well as Bunche Beach (which we highly recommend as a less-congested beach spot.)The rental was well-equipped with dishes, tableware and cookware.We would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We love that Siesta Dreams is located in a boating community and easily accessible to Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva. We are in a quiet residential neighborhood that’s great for bike riding, walking, boating, and kayaking through the mangroves in the back lagoon. The sunsets and clouds are amazing! We’re about 2 miles north of Fort Myers Beach, so it’s much easier to navigate traffic during season to explore all the other activities Southwest Florida has to offer, Plus, everything we need is nearby - a variety of restaurants, Walmart, Target, Publix supermarket, Love Boat Ice Cream, miniature golf! There’s even a LeeTran Trolly Stop at the end of our street that we can just jump on to go anywhere on Fort Myers Beach.

What makes this property unique

Siesta Dreams has been completely renovated from top to bottom! New stainless appliances, new flooring, new showers, new cabinets and counters, so everything feels fresh and clean! My favorite spot in the unit is the screened front porch where you can watch the manatees and dolphins in the canal and watch the boats cruise by. We’ve also enjoyed evenings gathered around both of the fire pits with friends, family, and cocktails.
