Welcome to Sunrise Cottage

Sunrise Cottage is a three bedroom two bath home set atop a 2.5 acre sunny knoll in Springfield, Vermont!
Relax and enjoy time with family and friends in a fully appointed kitchen/family room with separate dining and living rooms. There is a wood burning fireplace and two electric fireplaces as well as games and puzzles galore. Enjoy the sunrise on the front porch with your morning coffee and the sunset around the backyard fire pit with some hot cocoa or a glass of wine.
Sunrise Cottage sits high on a hill nestled in a sweet Springfield neighborhood. It is close to restaurants, shopping, skiing, apple picking and is a great place to visit in all seasons!
The 2.5 acre property includes 80 blueberry bushes, a handful of apple trees and a fire pit perfect for roasting s'mores on those cool Vermont evenings.
With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all on one level, Sunrise Cottage is perfect for families including seniors and children.
There are accessible grab bars in the bathrooms, baby gates, a portable high chair and crib, double stroller, wagon, and various outside toys.
Upon entering the residence you are greeted by a cozy family room with an electric fireplace, smart TV and comfy sectional sofa.
Next is the fully appointed kitchen with multiple appliances that include an instant pot, crockpot, blender etc. Our coffee bar is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker. We also have a drip coffee pot and French press.
Off the kitchen through French doors is the outside deck where you will find patio furniture that includes a table with umbrella for outside dining.
The formal dining room is just off the kitchen and boasts a second electric fireplace so those Thanksgiving dinners with family and friends will be cozy and warm.
From the dining room you are led into the formal living room that has a second smart TV and a loveseat with chairs centered around a wood-burning fireplace.
Down the hall from the living room, you will find a master bedroom equipped with a king size bed and en suite 3/4 bath with shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third two twins. The twin bedroom is stocked with games, puzzles and toys for young children. The second bathroom has a bathtub shower combination with a small anti-room that contains a stackable washer and dryer.

Why they chose this property

Springfield, is a perfect springboard to many Vermont attractions. It is close to Interstate 91 and leads to the winding backroads that bring you to historic towns like Chester, Grafton and Weston, Vermont. There is a local Shaws grocery store, fantastic Co-op for all your organic needs and Wellwood Orchards— the best family friendly apple picking orchard around! It is also close to great ski resorts like Okemo, Bromley and Magic Mountain

What makes this property unique

Our home is senior and baby friendly and a great place for generations to gather. We have grab bars in the baths and shower and baby gates, toys, strollers, port a cribs etc!! Powerful V-Tel WiFi also available.
