MacFarlane Cottage, MacFarlane Cottage at Camp Caledonia

1 bedroom lakeview cabin with a kitchen and screened-in porch in "The Highlands." A few extra steps from the water with an UNBELIEVABLE view. Features one bedroom with queen bed and 2 twin beds in the main room that can be "bunked up" or "bunked down". We no longer provide cots, but there's plenty of room for you to bring your own air mattress.
Please bring your own linens and towels.
We provide cookware/utensils, flatware, cups, plates, dish soap and sponges, paper towels, and toilet paper. Coffee, soap, shampoo, and conditioner are available at no charge upon request.
In order to keep our nightly rate low, a one-time housekeeping fee of $115 will be added to each reservation, regardless of the length of your stay.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The cabins are cute and situated above the water with a nice view. The area is very nice and quiet and walkable out in the country. The cabins are dated with vintage kitchenettes and very basic furniture. You need to bring pretty much everything. Keeping in mind these are geared toward fishermen, a few added amenities could justify doubling the rates during the high season when they're kind of an overflow to the A-Bay vacation crowd. Added TP, paper towels, and a better mattress in the main bedroom would go a long way.
