This home was the 2nd home built at Sunriver. It is a very private home bordering a large common area. The home is all built on one-level so after a long day skiing or biking, you won't have to hike up and down stairs to get to and from the bedrooms or other living areas.

This home is located among the tall Ponderosa Pines with a beautiful landscaped backyard bordering a spacious common area well away from any busy roads. A BBQ, patio furniture and a private hot tub are on the large deck just off the living area for those hot summer nights and early morning sunrises.

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you will need for all your meals during your stay. This home is approx. 1400 sf. of living space. The living room has a TV and a beautiful gas fireplace for those chilly winter nights. There are four bedrooms and three full bathrooms.

There are two championship 18 hole golf courses, twenty outdoor tennis courts and over 40 miles of bike paths for your outdoor enjoyment. Enjoy a 10 minute walk to the Village Mall or a short distance to Fort Rock Park.

So, enjoy your vacation in this cozy home in Sunriver along with all the activities there is to offer. Either biking, swimming, golfing or skiing it's all here for your enjoyment.

We are a semi-retired couple who purchased this home as a place to come to and relax. Our grand-children love to come visit this home.

Why Andrew Fields chose Sunriver

We purchased this home for our 25th wedding anniversary! We celebrated our 50th Anniversary this past Summer with our 4 children and 21 grandchildren (we rented 4 other homes).

What makes this house unique

We love to relax and read a book or walk through the Sunriver Plaza and shop.

We also like to eat a warm bowl of oatmeal at the table in the early mornings and watch the wildlife walk past the two large windows in the living room.

The house was very comfortable for all of us!

The house had everything that we needed. One night we celebrated a birthday with 20 guests. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The location is great. Easy walk or ride to the park and all downhill to the Sharc. There is so much to do in and around the area. We went to locations we had not been to even after 4 trips to Sunriver. Still more to see for next time.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for the kind review. When we stay there we feel like home as well. I will contact the company that services our Hot Tub. It is serviced regularly so I'm uncertain as to what the issue could be.

Great house for a group stay.

6 of us stayed for 3 nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The design of the house puts the 2 master bedrooms on either side of the house which was nice. The pictures are deceiving; there is more room than it appears. Everything was clean. We had deer in the backyard while we hot tubbed (which was heaven after playing tennis for hours). People have left behind a lot of useful supplies and we added to it. Driveway had plenty of room for 4 vehicles. We didn't use many of the amenities as we were otherwise occupied but appreciated them being there just in case (bikes, ping pong table, SHARC passes). Had trouble with WiFi password when we first arrived but the owner was very responsive when we called and we figured it out.

Great location for active families

Great central location but had a sense of seclusion. House is slightly dated but well equipped. Outside space is great and very usable. Very comfortable place.

Disappointed about arrival cleanliness and deducted refund

Upon arrival, we had to sweep the kitchen becaue of the debris that was left, vacuum the living room and the bedrooms because we found a Valium pill by the bedpost, and finish two loads of laundry left by the cleaning crew. We had little children with us that if they would have found the pill and taken it would have caused a huge liability. There was no napkins or paper towels so we went without until we went to the store the next day. We cooked every meal there and for every meal had to fan the smoke detector because it went off every time. One of the king-sized bedrooms had awful heating and we had to continually have it on because it was real cold in there. Upon waiting for our refund, the owner never communicated that we would not be receiving it all back. We ended up getting charged for an extra 3 people (toddlers under the age of 3) and we got charged for extra towels we used which doesn't make sense because we did the previous occupants two loads. We also washed almost all the towels prior to leaving, with our own detergent. The owner indicated that no matter age that it still was extra people, which is crazy when normal places around don't charge for children of those ages. They don't use any more of anything, they were in diapers, took showers with parents, slept with parents, didn't create a mess or stain anything, etc. He could have overlooked the ages but said that the insurance company said to charge....does the insurance company get the money he charged us then? As I stated to the owner, if Disneyland, nor the SHARC would charge for that age, why would he? His repsonse was "I'm not the SHARC or Disneyland....which yes is correct but I think is a jerk response. I think that even if we had no toddlers, we still would have gotten charged for something so please BEWARE of this rental and getting charged for ludicrous things.

Owner's Response: This guest was scheduled to have a max of 8 people. Upon leaving, it was communicated they had 14 guests. We are very reasonable with our deposits, refunding 97% at FULL. In addition, the cleaning company indicated the following: "THE LAST RENTERS THAT WERE THERE HAD A TERRIFIC NEW YEARS PARTY. I COUNTED 5 CARS IN THE DRIVEWAY. BRANDY ALSO TALKED TO SOMEONE WHO WAS LEAVING AS SHE WAS ARRIVING TO CLEAN THE HOUSE AND THEY TOLD HER THERE WERE 14 (FOURTEEN PEOPLE) WHICH WAS VERY EVIDENT UPON ENTERING THE HOUSE." And, they forgot to return our keys; we didn't get them until almost a month later. Upon inquiry as to the extra guests, I received this response: "yes, we ended up having 13. It was supposed to be only 8 up until THAT day, but the other family had plans fall through last minute due to a death and we (us and the other family) didn't want them to be alone over New Years. However, three of the occupants were 2 yrs old (give or take months) and usually under age of 3, they are not considered an occupant. I figure if Disneyland or the SHARC don't charge for them, then they wouldn't "count". It was completely last minute (literally the day we arrived we invited them) so I apologize for not notifying you." The extra occupants meant extra towels, extra cleaning, extra costs that we incurred. We passed those costs onto the Traveler, which she didn't like. If you stay at our place and: don't communicate the number of guests, leave a very messy place, and forget to turn in your keys, expect to have some of our deposit non-refunded. Fortunately for us, 97% of our guests don't ever have any of these issues.
