Welcome to Emerald Skye in beautiful Orange Beach, Alabama! This charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo is perfect for families, featuring twin bunk beds in the hall that are ideal for kids and a cozy sleeper sofa in the living room for extra guests. One of the standout features of this unit is the exceptional views of the Gulf of Mexico from the 5th floor, allowing you to enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets right from your balcony. Located directly on the beach, you’ll have quick access to the soft sand and sparkling waters.

For relaxation, the heated pool is available from October 1st to November 20th and again from March 1st to April 20th, providing a perfect spot to soak up the sun during the cooler months. Additionally, the condo is within walking distance to "Coastal," a fantastic restaurant offering delicious cuisine and breathtaking views of the Gulf. Plus, you'll find a variety of shopping and dining options just a short drive away, making this unit an ideal beach getaway for your next vacation!

Awesome, pristine and clean. Had everything we needed for the long weekend. Close to everything but a quite property too. Looks to be freshly renovated with flooring, appliances and countertops. We are already booking our next trip!

Terrible Experience – Dishonest and Unprofessional Property ManagementI would strongly advise against booking with CastAway Properties. During our stay, we discovered bugs in the bed, which was both disgusting and deeply concerning. I immediately reached out to the property owner, and we had multiple phone calls and text exchanges regarding the issue.Initially, the owner expressed concern and remorse, acknowledged the issue, assuring us that a pest control company would be contacted to inspect the condo. He clearly stated—via text messages on August 9th and 10th, 2025—that we would receive a refund regardless of the outcome of the pest control inspection. However, on August 11th, the owner abruptly reversed his position, stating that no refund would be provided, and that any further communication would have to go through the VRBO message board.This was incredibly disappointing and felt like a clear bait-and-switch. We were essentially promised compensation and then had that promise completely withdrawn.We have never encountered such dishonest and unprofessional behavior from a property management company. CastAway Properties showed a complete lack of integrity and accountability. What should have been a relaxing stay turned into a stressful and frustrating experience.VRBO has been made aware of the issue, and a case has been opened and escalated to their Health and Safety Department for further review.

Please know that guest comfort and cleanliness are our top priorities. After receiving your report, we immediately took action by sending a licensed pest control company to inspect the property. Their thorough inspection found no evidence of bugs in the unit. In addition, we also had a professional cleaning company evaluate the property, and they too confirmed no signs of bugs were present. We want all of our guests to feel confident and comfortable staying with us, which is why we take all reports seriously and act quickly. While we regret that this concern impacted your stay, we’re grateful you brought it to our attention so we could ensure the property remains in excellent condition for future guests. Loved our stay!!!

Wow! Perfect location right on the beach! You can see the sunrise and sunset just sitting on your balcony. The condo had everything we needed for our month stay. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to do a lot of eating in. There was even a place to store our bicycles. Brad is amazing! Very responsive when we contacted him! Will definitely stay at his place again on our next trip to Orange Beach.
