Relax and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. Very close to Ski Apache, dozens of great hikes, and the casino! Just outside of town gives you the deep woods feel while staying close to all the fun! Fenced-in property on 3.3 acres of wooded land. Tons of wildlife with a seasonal creek! 10 minutes from sledding and Ski Apache turnoff. Dogs are allowed and welcome! Perfect for a family-friendly getaway! A brand new hot tub was installed on 5/2025.

This newly listed property became available starting 2/2025, and the host has been a super host for several years.

Our host, James, was extremely helpful. He responded immediately to any questions we had. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. It felt cozy and welcoming. The games available for kids were perfect and the hot tub was excellent. I definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent house/cabin. Very large and private property. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. I have stayed at a few houses/cabins in the area throughout the years. This was the best one yet. I am hoping to come to the Ruidoso/Alto area next year for more mountain hiking and cooler summer temps. I will be requesting this property again. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay but rained most of the time! Unit was clean and worked for us! Dog friendly was good but could have been a lot better with a doggie door and small fenced yard! My big truck made it hard to park but we made it! Thanks

It was a perfect stay outside Ruidosa, close enough to the city, but far enough away to enjoy the wilderness. The cabin is really clean and feels very home like. we enjoyed our stay and we’ll stay there each time we visit.
