Location, location, location...the best of everything...quaint urban living and big city excitement all within walking distance!!! This spacious 115 year old home located in the historic district of Northern Kentucky, Riverfront. It served as the parsonage for the Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church until 2001. Because we are only the 3rd owners of this lovely home, it has retained all its historic charm including original stain glass windows, but refurbished with all the innovated design for today's lifestyle!
Stroll along the neighborhood streets past unique shops, restaurants and all the entertainment the mighty Ohio River has to offer. Enjoy boating; riverfront dining plus you are a bridge away from your favorite big league sports! You are also minutes away from the variety of cultural events, museums, and family friendly activities Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area has to provide.
This home is completely furnished with all amenities for a comfortable residence including off street parking and a lovely backyard providing additional outdoor living. Its close proximity to the expressway and Greater Cincinnati International Airport, affords an exceptional opportunity for corporate transfers and rentals, or vacationing families.
Rent this house for a month or longer. It will feel like your own home the day you move in. You might never want to leave Berry Avenue.
Born, raised and married in the Greater Cincinnati area, we just celebrated our 37th anniversary in the tri-state. Our background and education includes design, architecture, building and renovation of homes to their original grandeur. When we found this gem we knew immediate this would be a home we could retire to but for now it is perfect for a visiting family, corporate relocation, or just a home away from home.
The Owner purchased this house in 2011
We chose this home because it offers quaint urban living and big city excitement all within walking distance of our marvelous riverfront. This home offers original wood trim and flooring, working pocket doors, 10' high ceilings, original fireplaces and a comfortable kitchen.
Completely furnished large rooms, 2 furnished bedrooms, den (can be used as a 3rd bedroom), 3rd floor open to all possibilities, new appliances, central air conditioning, gas heat, lovely front porch and additional outdoor living space.
What a charming home you have. Everything worked out for our visit to Cincinnati and we loved staying on Berry Ave.
The home is everything that it was shown to be and the perfect location for splitting our time between our respective families located in both Ohio & Kentucky.
I fully expect that when we return to the area, you'll be first to hear from us regarding our accommodations.
This is our second year in a row to stay at this beautiful Bellevue home and there's a good chance we'll be back next year!
We rented this property for two nights while in town for a wedding. It was absolutely perfect! While we didn't do a lot of cooking but the kitchen definitely has all the necessities and the dining room is spacious. We traveled with a little one were very happy to know there was already a pack n play and high chair available. Communication with the owner was great with very quick responses. Our flight arrived in the morning and we pleased we were able to checkin a couole hours earlier than the posted check in time. The hardwood throughout the home is gorgous! The bathrooms are all very modern and updated. The third floor is my favorite part of the house.....it's completely wide open with a king bed and a twin bed in the corner. Our 10 month old loved crawling up the flights of stairs to the third floor and looking out the windows which are floor level. Another great feature is the keyless entry. You just punch in the 4 digit code from the owner and you're in! So convenient! The neighborhood is great and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch. My favorite college bar (The B-List) was just two blocks away. Kroger is less than a mile. This home is close to everything you may want to do and see but has the comfort of home away from the city noise. We HIGHLY recommend staying here!
House was very nice inside - clean - great location - only suggestion I have would b a mirror on the third floor - would definitely stay there again !!! Thanks Jane !!!
Beautiful! Gracious host, close to everything! Easy to find. Nice neighborhood for morning walks. Perfect for our family vacation!
We are glad we stayed at this location. The house is lovely and has lots of history. It was also roomy enough to accommodate our seven person group. Everything we needed was there, and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful in answering all our questions that came up.
A big plus about the location is that you are within walking distance of a Kroger's Supermarket, the Newport Aquarium, a post office, and if you like, you can walk across the bridge to downtown Cincinnati, to a baseball game, etc.
We were very happy with our stay at this beautiful home. The wood trim,, doors, and staircase lend a rich historic feeling. Everything was clean, in working order, and well stocked and the WiFi worked great. Kitchen is attractive and up to date. Jane was very attentive to our needs and even offered to ship an item to us that we left behind. I would suggest a cleaning of the 3rd floor carpet and decorating of that level to make it look as nice as the rest of the home. Highly recommend staying in this home - you won't be disappointed!
