Fantastic retreat

My friends and I had a great stay for a long weekend get away. Renting bikes makes it very easy to get around the island. The common area with the pool was very enjoyable and the place was just as pictured and described.

Ray, Thank you so much for choosing to spend your Key West vacation with us at our Coco's Poolside Retreat! It was a pleasure hosting you for your time on the island and we are so happy to hear you had a delightful experience at our home. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback from your stay with us and are happy to report we have already made improvements based on your input! The queen mattress on the second floor has been replaced with a brand new luxe mattress. We have also increased the frequency of both our landscaping and our pool services, each company now comes to the property twice weekly to address the yard and ensure the pool is in tip top shape for our guests. This is supplemented by our prep team who also comes by the property to prepare the inside and outside for your stay on the day of checkin. (: We hope our remedies of your notes give you peace of mind and that we have another opportunity to host you in the future so you can see the improvements for yourself! Thank you again Ray, VHKW values you and your feedback ensures we are constantly improving for our guests. Warm Regards, Vacation Homes of Key West

The house was in disrepair which did not depict accurately from the listing and cost. Outlets didn’t have covers on them, which is a huge safety concern. The house had a lot of rot issues and run down. The couch was broken and sunken in. There were these tiny bugs that infested our bathroom and got into my breast pumps and was absolutely repulsive. We did however love the pool and courtyard even though it wasn’t the best maintained. Would not rebook based on cost vs condition alone.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the home did not meet your expectations. While some of the concerns mentioned are typical of a tropical, historic home in Key West, we understand that this may not have been the experience you were expecting. We’re glad you enjoyed the pool and courtyard, and we appreciate your feedback.

Would recommend! Loved our stay!

Audrey, the property manager, was incredibly nice and gave us so many great recommendations for eating, coffee, and happy hours. The house was very clean and nice. The property was quiet and relaxing. About a 25 minute walk to Duval St., would recommend bikes or ride share to tourist places. Overall an excellent experience. 10/10

Good Location

The location is walking distance to all things! The pool was nice, lots of shade. There are stairs which should be kept in mind for older people. Kitchen was stocked. The host responded quickly and was very nice. The best feature was the fact that every room had ceiling fans!!

Great pool area

Our group of six enjoyed the pool area. The Jack and Jill bathroom doors did not lock and the toilets ran all the time. But that was the only two things we could really complaint about. The management company was great to deal with.

First Key West trip

The property is residential and in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is what makes the property worth renting. This location requires a golf cart rental or bike rental to see attractions I would rent it again however the property needs a deep cleaning.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Coco’s. Communication could be improved around the pool. Myself and several other parties thought the pool was going to be private. I liked meeting the other parties but others may not. It also may be time for some cosmetic upgrades. It was a great choice for our family. Thank you for everything’
