I apologize for the initial shortage of supplies and appreciate your patience as we worked to resolve the issue quickly by sending the cleaning crew over. My cleaning lady did the final walk through before your arrival, but she missed the kitchen towel. My cleaning crew will be more careful in future. I also appreciate your comments regarding the heating system and found out that someone set a program running for our nest thermostats. We removed it remotely. This will ensure heating system provides consistent comfort throughout the day and night. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to host you again in the future!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you found the home’s layout appealing and communication with me helpful. However, I feel it’s important to respond to several misrepresentations in your review to provide future guests with an accurate understanding of the situation. As clearly stated in the listing, the home does not have central air conditioning. Your check-in happened to fall on a particularly hot day, and while I understand this caused initial discomfort, temperatures cooled significantly after that. We provide multiple fans throughout the home, and many previous guests have stayed comfortably even during warm weeks. You contacted me continuously between 2am and 6am your first night regarding bugs and fridge. Out of concern, I had my cleaning professional stop by the following morning. She conducted a thorough check of the bedrooms and common areas and found no bugs. She also inspected the refrigerator, which was working properly. It’s important to note that filling a refrigerator with warm groceries in a warm house can temporarily impact its cooling efficiency. Surprisingly, you even requested that I deliver an entirely new fridge, which was not warranted based on her findings. Despite your complaints, I offered you a full refund the very next day so that you could relocate if the home truly wasn’t meeting your needs. You chose to stay for the entire duration of your reservation. Then, after completing your stay, you requested a full refund, which I declined—only then did you leave a two-star review. After your departure, we also found two windows left wide open, others left unlocked, and lights left on throughout the home, which suggests a disregard for basic care of the property. As for the towels, my cleaner intentionally left additional ones in the dryer for your large group to use if needed—they were clean, fresh, and folding was not a requirement. I always strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and honest experience. I also value guest feedback, but it must be grounded in fairness and truth. I remain committed to giving future guests the best possible stay and being responsive and transparent at every step. Wishing you the best in your future travels.
