Amazing location and view! This property was exactly as advertised and couldnt have been more perfect. We stayed with 6 adults and 7 kids under the age of 7. No issues with the stairs or the docks, the kids loved climbing the rocks along the shore and the bunk bed room was their hideout. Overall great location, would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great Location but House and Dock Need Work

The location is amazing with a gorgeous view of Sebago and direct waterfront access. The outdoor fire pit was great and is well positioned to have a view of the lake. There is ample parking and it is a fairly quiet neighborhood. We knew the house would be rustic from the pictures, but both the house and dock are in need of significant work. The beams holding up the awning in front are broken and so is screen door. The downstairs is unfortunately carpeted and seems to hold a musty smell. The bedrooms smelled of mildew and there was a lot of junk in the closets (boxes, old electronics) and it'd be more user friendly if those were cleaned out. The Queen bedrooms and bunk room are up an incredibly small and tight stair case that would be hazardous to small children and impossible for elderly folks. There is only one AC upstairs in the bunk room (which lets in a lot of bugs to that room -- causing my kids to start calling it the Bug Room instead of the Bunk Room) and its hard to keep the other two bedrooms cool if you have hot nights. The sealing around the ACs in general is poor and probably that is what was letting a lot of bugs in. The beds were pretty comfortable but the pillows were thin. The downstairs is super open and has comfy furniture whereas the upstairs is very small and tight. The dock was missing the end piece that is shown in 2 off 3 pics making it incredibly difficult to dock a pontoon boat. The rocky shore was excellent for floating and paddling.

Thanks for the feedback Jeni. Apologies for the screen door and the beam. We weren’t aware of these issues. They are both scheduled to be repaired today. We will review with the owners about moving personal items to the garage. We will also see if adding new flooring in their budget. We try to show a clear picture of the stairs so guests understand that they aren’t typical stairs. We will also look to address the bugs getting by the AC in the bunk room. The other bedrooms up stairs don’t have the kind of windows that work for window units. We are working to get the 3rd part of the dock repaired. Thank you for the kind things you had to say, we will get to work to make this a 5 star for you next time. Thanks Eric Jordan Rentals
