convenient winter escape

Location was very close to metropark, town, stores and restaurants. A bit longer drive to some sites in the NP but the price break was worth it. Great rental!

Very convenient to the B-W Campus

...and a short walk (or drive) to various MetroPark entrances, a good coffee shop/bakery, and grocery store. Comfortable bed. Very basic decor. Plenty of hot water.

Wry comfortable place.

I was in town to move my son into an apartment. Very cute place, great for the cost. I don’t think I could have had more than my husband with me. Will stay again if in the area

We had a really nice time. It was close to things that we wanted to do. It was nice having the kitchen and being able to cook. The smart tvs had access to streaming services. Wifi worked good. Theres an adorable dog next door named biscuit lol

The minute you walk in, it smells like sewage water and it has a very weird musty smell. The bed had a lot of hair on it. Felt disgusted

Cute and efficient

Bed and linens were top notch! Felt like a 5 star hotel. Firepit was a nice place to chill outside, altho we didn't have a fire.Living room seating isn't super comfy, but sufficient. Only comment is that its listed as entire house, which it is not. Lower level only. But for us, it was fine.

I would not stay again. You cannot control the temperature. I was freezing and had to wear a sweater to bed! The bed had an infestation of black bugs. Very difficult to get my suitcase down and up the slippery outside steps.

Response from VrboOwner on Aug 1, 2025
Hi Sheila, We're very sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. HOWEVER, we were surprised by your comments, as no concerns were reported during your stay — especially something as serious as a bug issue. We take cleanliness and guest comfort extremely seriously and have routine professional pest control, with no signs of infestation before or after your visit. Regarding the temperature, we did receive your message during the stay and promptly responded by switching off the central fan, as well as suggested of adjusting the vents for your comfort. We're always happy to help guests find the right balance! We appreciate all feedback and always strive to improve, but we also want to reassure future guests that we maintain high standards and are attentive to any issues that arise during a stay. Thank you!
