Spend a week or more relaxing in an original Ocean City upper cottage, circa 1909. It had a complete renovation in 2013, including a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, new windows, flooring, siding, insulation, and rooftop deck. Climb the front steps to relax on the wide front porch and take in the cool ocean breeze under the outdoor ceiling fans.
Step inside and you will be transported back to a former era in Ocean City - original oak wainscoated walls in the living room and dining room speak history, while oak steps, floors, and woodwork complete this historic upper cottage. The modern kitchen and full bath, plus stacked washer/dryer and office nook complete the rooms on this floor.
Walk upstairs to four spacious bedrooms and a modern bath with tub. Two queen beds, a double bed, and three twin beds will allow your family to have all the room you need. A rooftop deck off the master bedroom brings you fresh ocean breezes.
The house has new central air conditioning and heat. An enclosed shower and clothesline are in the backyard. The house was completely renovated in 2013 with new kitchen, baths, flooring, windows, insulation, siding, roof, and oceanside rooftop deck. Each floor is zoned separately for climate control.
Being in the beach block, walk less than a block to reach Ocean City's world famous beach and boardwalk. Rent bikes in the AM, spend the afternoon on the beach, and stroll the boards at night, all conveniently located within walking distance of this home. This original arts and crafts style cottage is located in the Northend of Ocean City, the most historic section of town.
Come to Ocean City and experience summertime in a way that has made it the world famous Family Resort.
One off street parking space is included with each weekly rental.

My family has been vacationing in Ocean City since the 1940's. We have always stayed at the North end of the island, and first owned property in Ocean City in 1966. My siblings and I spent our high school and college summers working at various businesses on the Boardwalk, and saving hard earned money for college expenses.
My husband, sons, siblings and extended family love to gather at this original Ocean City house to enjoy the sun, sand, surf and memories of summers gone by.
Ann Baldyga purchased this house in 1986
My siblings and I grew up in a summer home on Plymouth Place, in the north end of Ocean City. My current home on Delancey Place is reminiscent of those early Ocean City years, and a slower, more casual pace.
By 2013, it was evident that this wonderful old seashore cottage was badly in need of a complete renovation. With no damage from Superstorm Sandy (thankfully!), we embarked on that adventure in December, 2012. Our newly renovated seashore cottage was completed in early July, 2013. We are looking forward to spending many family vacations and celebrations at our seashore cottage.
Coming to Ocean City takes you back to a charming era when life was slower, quieter, and a bit more relaxing. Spend a week on the front porch of this original Ocean City home, and you will experience old Ocean City with modern conveniences of central air conditioning, cable flat screen TV, and computer access.
This home has been lovingly restored to its circa 1920 beginnings, while maintaining the creature comforts of a modern home- central air conditioning and 2 baths. You will rest and relax on the wrap around porch which is shaded by old fashioned awnings. Leave your cares and enjoy the ocean breezes from the porch of this home.
We spent a week in August at Ocean City. The house was great. Big, clean and just a block from the beach. We were with our daughter, her husband and 5 year old grandson. Other family members visited during the week. There was plenty of room for everyone. Would highly recommend it.
Our family visited Sept 2010 and everything was so nice. It was our family plus some of my husband's extended- everyone loved the historic charm. There was always someone on that wonderful porch. It was a big enough house where everyone had privacy. The beds were nice and the house was very clean. Thanks Ann for making it so easy. We are hoping to come again to Ocean City this year again, early summer. The beach and boardwalk were truly just a block away. Only slight negative was no washer/dryer or beach toys for kids.
