First time staying at Palacio. Condo was perfect for our family. Plenty of space and had everything we needed and more. The view from the master suite was nice to wake up to each morning.

Luxury Coastal Vacations
Nice unit and good communication with the host. No complaints whatsoever with the actual unit or the host. That said, we have stayed at the Palacio multiple times over the last 15 years and will not stay here again. This is a personal preference about the beach and I recognize others may not think my complaint is a big thing (and that's fine - to each their own). But sometime over the last several years, the beach service and beach "private property" has grown in popularity and has spread to the Palacio and its neighboring properties. My family takes its own beach chairs and we have been doing this for the last 15 years wherever we go. On this trip, the only way we could get an oceanside spot was to pay for beach service seating, rudely sit in front of other people, or go to a different beach. The beach service literally took the entire beachfront seating across the entire Palacio property and the neighboring properties were the same way. It was disappointing to unexpectedly stay somewhere that forces you to pay to get a oceanside seat. It was never like this at the Palacio in the past when I stayed here, but things have changed over the years. We ended up driving to other beaches most days. Next time we go to Perdido, we will stay somewhere else due to this disappointment.
