Denna logghus har 5 sovrum. Det stora sovrummet ligger på andra våningen med utsikt över det välvda taket stora rummet. Den har en king size-säng och ett komplett badrum. På bottenvåningen hittar du 2 sovrum med en queen size-säng i varje. Det finns också ett badrum på bottenvåningen. Köket, matsalen och vardagsrummet (60 tums tv) är belägna på bottenvåningen omgiven av välvda tak av mysig tall. Därifrån kan du gå ut på däck och ta in adirondackarnas friska luft. Från däcket kan du se dina barn leka på gräsmattan eller i vattnet. Du har en perfekt fågelperspektiv av allt. I promenad ut lägre nivå finns 2 sovrum. Varje sovrum har en queen size-säng och en våningssäng (våningssängar är tvilling xl). Det finns också en vacker bar område att samlas runt. Det finns en 60 tums tv och några soffor att slappna av och titta på din favorit show. Därifrån kan du gå direkt ut genom skjutdörrarna till vattnet. Det finns trådlöst wifi om du behöver använda internet. Om du vill uppleva Adirondacks är det här platsen för dig. Det finns rådjur, flisor, ankor och jämna löner som du kan se direkt från din privata logghem. Sängkläder ingår i alla vistelser (sängkläder och bad och handdukar.)

We had a great week long stay at camp chiffy. The house was perfect for 6 adults 5 kids. Waterfront access, close to town and hiking. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place for vacation!

We had a lovely week in this beautiful lakeside cottage. Gorgeously decorated, clean and well maintained. Well-stocked kitchen and a grill that is nicer than ours at home. Temperature was comfortable indoors and the firepit and waterfront were great for nights by the fire. My husband was even able to bring and park his boat there! We are excited to come back again!

Wonderful time

Our family had a great time at Camp Chiffy! It was roomy enough for everyone with plenty of spaces for family members to congregate for card games, etc. The kitchen was well stocked and we made good use of it. We used the deck, firepit, and the dock a lot. The kayaks and other water toys were much appreciated. We went swimming, tubing, kayaking and hiking. We cooked on the grill, made s'mores, and had epic corn hole tournaments. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Family Vacation

Camp Chiffy never disappoints! It is so perfect for our growing family. Our kids and grandkids had an unforgettable week of building memories together. The property is gorgeous, the new docks were perfect for our boat and our avid fisherman. Everyday ended with a fire in the beautiful fire pit! We all love camp Chiffy and hope to stay again soon!

Best winter vacation ever

The house is perfect. Very roomy. We had a wonderful time. Local skiing is great for beginners. The town people are friendly and warm. The house is clean and perfect. The owner is always there to answer a question. Easy access. Beautiful views. Just perfect in every way.

Amazing as Always

I cannot say enough about the owner and his property, this was our third time renting with vinny and each and every time it does not disappoint. There were some pleasant upgrades this year a new air conditioner in the main area which works AMAZING and the new fire pit which we enjoyed as many nights as we could. Thank you Again Vinny for sharing your home with our family we can't wait to come back next year!

Annual Family Camping Trip

This was by far our most favorite family camping trips thus far! The property was spacious, enough for our 4 families. The master bedroom was beautiful, we were able to setup a play pen for our 1 year old. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you may need. The views outside from the living room were breathtaking and beautiful. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock every morning. Kayaks were great and fun. We will definitely be coming back. It was a trip were we created memories that will last a lifetime.

Wonderful vacation home!

What an outstanding vacation our three-generation family had – a total of eight adults, three toddlers and one infant! Vinny’s vacation home was beautifully decorated and felt very homey. There was lots of room to gather– in the large living room upstairs, large room downstairs with wet bar, outside deck, and at the dock. The master bedroom on the top floor (loft) was extra nice with an adjoining bathroom that could be also accessed outside the bedroom. It was important that the house was extra disinfected for our safety. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs. There was a large refrigerator and commercial stove/oven, which came in very handy. It seems like a small point, but there were lots of different lights that could be used throughout the house – inside and out – to set any lighting need or mood. The waterfront was beautiful. The dock could accommodate a full-size pontoon boat that we rented from the nearby marina for several days. The water was shallow enough near the shore for little ones, plus there was a ladder to get in and out of the water. The sandy bottom was great. There were also four really nice kayaks and water vests. Since we all love kayaking, it was key that we had decent boats to use, not just “toys.” We can honestly say that this was the best vacation home that we have ever stayed at – it met or exceeded all our requirements – very clean, beautiful waterfront location, roomy, cozy, sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms, outside fire circle, nice lawn space for playing outside games, multiple kayaks, and within our price range. Thank you, Vinny!

Fantastic house in a great location

This is a great house, very clean with good size rooms. The docks & kayaks provided hours of entertainment on the water. I loved that the house is set back from the road. The separate living areas are great with 3 families to have the kids downstairs while the adults can talk upstairs. We ate outside every evening on the lovely deck. Only wish there were blankets on the beds.

Perfect location

House was extra clean and kitchen was great. Host was very responsive to all questions. Actually ran into someone on boat who told us they stayed at Camp Chiffy last year, the same week and also loved it!

Great As Always

We had a wonderful time. The cooler weather fostered more hiking and biking. We still went out tubing and cruising in the rented pontoon boat. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. Mr. Chiffey kept us abreast of the information we needed as we stayed there. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Great home on the lake!

Home was very clean and more than enough room for the 2 families that stayed! We rented a boat for 4 days and used the kayaks as well. It's located right in between Old Forge and Inlet. We spent time in both. Would definitely recommend this rental for any group.

A wonderful stay.

This home has all the luxuries you could ask for. Three bathrooms and plenty of room downstairs for the kids to stay. It is close enough to ride your bikes for ice cream and if you rent a boat, close to the nearest lake. We swam off the dock, hiked Blue Mountain, and had a great dinner at Deckers. The firepit is upgraded. And there are plenty of chairs with cup and phone holders. The kitchen is well stocked and the dishwasher and refrigerator held up well under the weight of so many people. It was cleaned with care for our arrival and we had no difficulty contacting the owners who responded as soon as possible. Can't wait to go again.

Vincent Chiffy är värd

I have always dreamed about owning a home in Old Forge on the water. I grew up about an hour south of Old forge in the town of New Hartford, NY. I use to go up to Old Forge to boat during the summer and snowmobile and ski in the winter. I still live in New Hartford and have a wife and 2 kids (13 and 14.) I graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy and now own 3 independent pharmacies with my family in Utica, NY. My family and myself love the outdoors and try to keep active.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When I saw this property I knew I had to have it. The open vaulted ceiling covered in notty pine was the big selling point for me. It made me really feel like I was part of Adirondacks. I have so many old memories with my friends and family up here. I bought this property so my children can have great family memories like I had growing up.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I looked at many places to purchase in Old Forge. This place had it all. The open floor plan, walls of notty pine, 1.3 acres of land, long driveway off the main road, and 3 docks on the water. Not to mention, a LOG HOME (how awesome is that.) The most important thing this home has, is a walk out basement that has a gradual slope to the water. Many of the homes on the water have stairs or hills you have to climb down to get to your dock. I wanted a home that was level with the water. Many of my renters are looking for this benefit also.
