Perfect weekend getaway

Husband and I love Gruene and this was the perfect spot just for the two of us. The owners were quick to communicate and it was close to everything. The property was quiet and had all the amenities. Would definitely stay there again.

Great spot close to Gruene

This was the perfect spot for an overnight trip to Gruene! I wouldn’t call it walkable at night, you would have to walk down a busy road with no sidewalks. But we were able to get an Uber from Gruene Hall. It’s a very close drive! Apartment is clean and comfy!

Thank you for staying with us Lauren. There is a pedestrian gate leading out of the back of our property that allows for a short walk to downtown Gruene through a neighborhood. We’ve updated our guides to make this more clear. Thanks for the opportunity to make our listing better.

Nice little apartment in good location

The apartments are brand new and in a convenient location within walking distance to activities in Gruene. We were glad the unit was pet friendly and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The check in process was complicated including having to download an app to get in the gate in the parking lot - would have been good to know in advance so we could have been more prepared. Everything being so automated is great but it was a lot of steps - app to get in gate, trying to find the unit, trying to find the stairs, using app to unlock common areas, a code to get the key from a key box, an electronic key to get into the apartment, etc. The owners were very responsive about our questions/issues and even refunded our early check in fee since it took us so long to get into the apartment. Now that we know how it works it will be much easier but initially it was overwhelming especially after a long drive and being unfamiliar with the property. There are very few pet friendly rentals in Gruene so we were happy to find this one and would definitely rent it again.
