This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles etc. (you would be surprised what people travel with). 4. Parking: Parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s). There are designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Parking space for RV's or trailers is not available - guest will have to make alternate arrangements. 5. Housekeeping: Housekeeping is provided before and after each guest rental period. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. 6. BBQ: If the BBQ runs out of propane while using, the extra tanks are located under the walkway facing the creek. 7. Coffee Makers: We have provided a Tassimo for your use, and it seems very popular. But if you like a full pot of brewed coffee, there is a coffee grinder and brew coffee maker in the island cupboard for your use. 8. Hot Tub: (Instructions are also out by the hot tub) Acrylic drink ware is provided for our guests to use in the hot tub - please refrain from using breakable drink containers in the hot tub. Towels for the hot tub are located in the closet of each bedroom. No children under the age of 6 permitted in hot tub without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. We sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in the hot tub prior to your arrival and maintain during your stay. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. And we don't want anyone falling over the railing! To open the tub: while facing the hot tub lift the left half of the cover and fold over the right half, with the metal bar sandwiched between the two halves. Lift up on the metal bar and stand it up vertically, the covers simply hangs like a towel on a towel rack. Hot tub controls: Button #1 controls circulation pump: press once - low speed, twice - high speed, third time - to cancel. The circulation system will also automatically come on to maintain heat or for filtration cycles - you cannot stop this circulation. If the circulation system is on when leaving the tub, simply close the cover and the system will shut itself down automatically. The up down arrows (^ and v), control water temperature. We normally have it set to 104 degrees F. (max. temp). Reduce if you prefer or for young children. The sunlight symbol turns under water light on or off - great to have on when it is dark. All remaining buttons are deactivated. Should you want to add air bubbles to the circulating water, the manual lever (blue/grey lever) is located next to the control panel. 9. As we live in an area that wild life (bears, elk, deer, coyotes, wolves) at times roam through the community, all garbage must be taken to the Bear proof garbage bins provided by the Town of Canmore. The garbage bin is located down the alley, turn right out the door, about half way down the alley - large brown bin. Recyling can be left for housekeeping to take care of - bins are located in furnace room. 10. We have a lovely patio at the back of the house, right on the creek. It is available for your use at any time. Cushions for the chairs are in the big bin by the back stairs. Please also feel free to use the fire pit, a lovely way to spend the evening or a cooler day. And don't worry about covering the fire pit if it is still burning and you wish to go to bed as it will burn down on its own and we will cover later or the next day. 11. Our new recreation centre has opened and is located on Railway Avenue, about 3 blocks away. It has a huge pool area with recreational and lane swimming and a water slide. It also has climbing walls for beginners to experienced. A fitness centre, library and art gallery are also available. Day passes are available to buy for full facility use or swim passes only. Randy and I are parents and grandparents moving towards retirement, wanting a place away from the hustle and bustle of big city living. We found this home by accident as we were looking for a condo but fell in love on first sight. Though Randy continues the commute to Calgary for work, we have been welcomed into this community and have found the friendliness next to none.
Beth purchased this Townhome in 2010
Why Beth chose Town Centre
We bought the property because it allows us to live year round in the mountains, have plenty of room for family and friends and and at other times share this beautiful accommodation with visitors such as yourself. We love we can be so close to nature yet walk and enjoy an early morning coffee at our favourite coffee shop, spend an afternoon on the deck of our favourite pub or dine at a top end restaurant. Or sit by the creek and enjoy the sound of the water moving by! Walking on the paths surrounding the town are just steps away.
What makes this Townhome unique
We love that the many windows in the home, allowing us to view the expansiveness of the mountains. The detailed workmanship and love that went into building this home, we consider our honour to maintain.
