BRINGING A BOAT? Please let us know for valuable information! We can accommodate a boat up to 18 feet. We are on a two track along side the lake and on a dead end so it makes it difficult to trailer both your vehicle and boat attached on trailer down the road so any boat especially bigger than 18' should put the boat in the water first as you have to pass up the boat launch enroute to the cottage and both drivers of boat and vehicle w/trailer can meet at Sunrise which is only less than 2 blocks distance from launch so its really close otherwise you will have issues. Please be so kind and let host know you are bringing a boat so we can give you details to make your arrival seamless. There is one whole side of the dock for guest usage, no lift.
WINTER/SNOWMOBILE/CROSS COUNTRY SKI/SKI HILLS: Snowmobile DNR trails right behind cottage, Trail # 7 and Ski Hills nearby for the Winter Enthusiasts! All kinds of Cross-Country Ski Trails nearby. This was probably the most peaceful experience of my life. It was off season and i was the only one there. I swam, sat in the hot tub, ran on the North Central Trail had fires and read books. Absolutely wonderful
The property was very nice and clean! It was perfect for our needs. Dorene was a huge help with any questions/ needs that we had.

Fun at Sunrise
We were very pleased with our stay at Sunrise Sunsation...it was clean as a whistle and living right on the water was really special. They had lots of fun toys to play with and it is a great area, with some great restaurants.

"Location, location, location!" This cottage is right in the middle of just about everything to do for any age group. True relaxation awaits you once you experience this cottage, not sure why this guest only gave four stars, oh well. lol
We had a great stay. The snow did not cooperate this year for us but we enjoyed beautiful sunrises with our morning coffee. The cottage is clean, cozy and well appointed. We also enjoyed several great dinners out in the area. Thank you for sharing a great spot with us!

The house is small, but clean and has everything a small family needs to be comfortable.
The house is charming. It's clean and has just about everything a small family needs to be comfortable for a week's vacation. The views are lovely and the water is refreshing. We were delighted with Sunrise Sensation; our only wish would be to stay longer!

I'm thrilled these guests thoroughly enjoyed our little piece of paradise. We love staying there and most guests are repeat guests, heck, guests there now have rented at least 5 times:-) We like to make sure the guests have everything they need to start their vacation stress free and have enough entertainment at the home so you don't even have to leave, just bring food and drink!
We celebrated my sons 32nd birthday, Labor Day weekend. It was a wonderful, relaxing time right next to the water. The lake was very calming, and we enjoyed our stay.
Cabin is wonderful, with all the amenities from home. You couldn’t ask for a better view, or more centralized location to all your favorite Northern sights and towns. Great trail system to walk every morning, and a perfect little hot tub to make turning in about as comfortable as it gets! This was our second visit, and we will return in the future.

Great location! Super clean and everything you need!
Booked very last minute and Dorene was very accommodating. My 3 kids and I had a blast in the late winter snow and loved having the hot tub right on the water to come back to. The master bedroom has great views of the lake and I'll definitely be looking to book again in warmer weather to enjoy the lake.

I'm happy these repeat guests loved their stay at Sunrise and the weather conditions cooperated. We love to share our peace of paradise. Way too much to do in the area for any outdoor enthusiasts....or just plain relax at the home or in the hot tub!
Mullet lake is beautiful. The cottage was perfect, just as pictured. We stayed a week and enjoyed the water for swimming and kayaking. Nice grill and campfire. Which we used often. Host was very easy to communicate with. Hated to leave it was so peaceful.
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The views are amazing and the water is steps away from the cottage. We used the hot tub every day and swam in the lake. The cottage is pet friendly. Our dog loved getting in the water and napping on the deck. We rented a tri-toon and explored the waterway. The house is well stocked with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and hearing the waves at night made sleeping even better. The host is quick to respond to messages. Thanks for letting us stay. We will be back!!
We loved our week on Mullett Lake. The house was perfect for us. Great location; beautiful water for swimming; kayaking; fishing. We did all 3 every day. Enjoyed the sunrise and the millions of stars in the night sky. The owner is excellent with communication and has the house stocked with everything you might need. We are looking forward to returning.
The place was clean and small. I couldn’t get one door to lock even though there was instructions on how to make it work

Did not get any communication at all from this Pastor with two large dogs about any door that would not lock as all 5 doors, 2 sliders and 3 doors, all lock and open/close and we already specify the sq footage of our cabin online and with two LARGE DOGS, your space will be smaller, stepping around the dogs.
2 bedroom cabin right on the water. Very clean and cozy. House comes with nice furniture, new applances, TVs and comfortanle beds. Each room has a great view over the lake. House has 2 kayaks, hot tub, boat access, fire pit. Hiking and biking trail access. House is pet friendly and owner very nice and helpful. Lots of information on sightseeing and restaurants. Will definitively come again to this wonderful cabin.
We love this place. Great location on the lake. It is very peaceful. You are steps away from water.
The house is clean, organized and comfortable. Communication with the Owner, Dorene is excellent. We swam & kayaked every day. We went to Mackinac Island one day and we were back to the house by early afternoon and in the lake. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake is a bonus. We will be back next summer.
I am not sure i could find a more perfect paradise. The views are spectacular! We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the loons, ducks, geese, chipmonks, boats, etc. It is impossible to sit out there and not relax. Absolute heaven. The cottage is exactly as described. Check in was very easy, cottage was immaculate when we got there. The kayaks were so much fun. Loved the hot tub! You cant go wrong with this one! We will be back!

The cabin was nice and clean. The grass and weeds needed to be cut. The doorwall was hard to open/close. The dirt road was hard to get down. There wasn’t room to turn boat around.

We cut the grass every Sunday when we flip our cottage, they must've been talking about the vacant lot between our cottage and the next door cottage is my guess, did notice door wall was hard to open and close after this guest stay but we fixed it on behalf of them and did not charge them. They probably though we were going to call them out on it but we just fixed it for our future guests since the guest didn't warn us about it. It was not hard to open when we were there just prior to their arrival. Our listing already specifies about procedure to bring a boat but they didn't read the listing details nor did they let us hosts know they were bringing a boat as we would have reinforced our procedure to make the experience seamless.. Actually there was zero communication from the time they booked, only got their review which we thought was unfair since all their issues are already in the listing but we appreciate them staying and choosing our little piece of paradise. We know that the weather for the week was not good for boating as well. I wish we could have fixed that for them as well.

Great place to visit for New Year
This is a lovely place to visit. Very clean and cosy. My partner and I had wonderful 3 nights here over New Year. The cabin is close to grocery store and local bar. The snowmobile trail right outside front door and it did manage to snow whilst we were there allowing us to snowmobile for a few hours before we left. Loved the hot tub on the deck made a perfect New Year's Eve. The owner Dorene very helpful and answered all my queries and questions even tho if different country. No problems booking from different country either. We will hopefully be back next New Year.
