Welcome to your home away from home in the heart of Eureka, CA! This fully furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bath private unit offers the comfort of a traditional hotel with the added space and privacy of a home. Conveniently located near the bay, it features a private entrance, fenced yard, and an attached garage for secure parking.

The Space:
Step into a clean, well-maintained living area designed for comfort and ease. Whether you're visiting for work or leisure, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully furnished interior, two comfortable bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen for easy in-home meals. A private washer and dryer make extended stays even more convenient.

New to the property: a Level 2 Tesla Wall Connector (240V) for EV charging, compatible with all electric vehicles using a J1772 adapter. Charging is available for a flat $25 per stay or $0.30 per kWh—just let us know if you'd like to use it.

Guests have full, private access to the entire 2-bedroom home-style unit, including the garage, yard, and all interior spaces. Beautiful home, extemely clean with higher end furniture, bedding ect. I was moving my daughter to Cal poly. The house slept my three kids, wife and dog comfortably. I noticed he didnt want dog's in the bedrooms, but the bedding was higher end, i can understand not wanting animals to rub up next to it. I appreciate the request.Im a clean freak and apparently so is the owner of this house. Probably the best kept home ive stayed in.House is near down town and it had a little neighborhood market a couple of blocks over that was so nice to see.The backyard is perfect for our dog and we used the porch as a hang out spot.I highly recommend this place and will use it again in the future. Thank you Glenn!

Perfect place to stay if you have a dog traveling with you. The amenities were great but the most important thing for me was the dog friendly snd secure backyard. We will be back!

Well appointed abode

This duplex is nicely redone and well maintained. We stayed in the back B unit, with a large, well maintained, fenced yard, perfect for my sister's dog. The inside had a great layout and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house was central to all of the spots we wanted to tour. I would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.

Welcome to our VRBO listing! My name is Glenn Hamanaka. I am a proud Humboldt County native with an unwavering connection to this region that spans 46 years. Born in Chicago, but mostly raised here, my roots extend deep into the heart of Humboldt, where I attended elementary school, high school, and even a bit of college.

In addition to my ties to the local educational institutions, my 35-year career in commercial painting has strengthened my relationship with this region. My company has helped shape the landscape of our community over the past three decades and allowed me to meet and collaborate with an array of wonderful people and businesses.

For the past seven years, I've expanded my community involvement by becoming a VRBO host, catering especially to professionals visiting our region. The joy of providing a comfortable and welcoming space for guests, a home away from home, has been deeply fulfilling.

My love for the local community extends to the realm of sports. I have been actively engaged with the baseball and softball community here, supporting youth sports all the way up to collegiate sports. This includes my donations to local institutions such as Humboldt State, St. Bernard's Academy, and Eureka High School.

On a more personal note, I am happily married and a proud father to three children. Two are going through college while our youngest navigates high school. When I'm not hosting, working, or spending quality time with my family, you might find me enjoying the incredible natural beauty of our region through ocean fishing—one of my cherished hobbies.

Being a VRBO host is more than a responsibility to me; it's a privilege. It enables me to share my love for this vibrant and unique community and the natural wonders surrounding us. My family and I look forward to welcoming you to our piece of paradise in Humboldt County.
