Please note that the Kitchenette is stocked well with hot plate, toaster, toaster oven, a 7.5cuft retro fridge, microwave, a Nespresso machine and poor over drip coffee supplies. The perfect set up for making light meals and freshening up leftovers. The home provides dishware, pots and pans, glassware, coffee mugs, flatware, cooking utensils. Thanks in advance for acknowledging this is not a full kitchen.

The place was perfect for our visit. Walking distance to Humboldt campus and downtown. Cute little cottage with all the appropriate accommodations to make for a lovely stay. The property managers were quick to respond to any questions we had. We met the property owner as well who was lovely and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a nice spot close to downtown Arcata.

This was an adorable well kept unit moments away from the Arcata Community forest. It had a small kitchenette, which was perfect for small meals, a grill outside for bigger ones and a very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend it, especially if you like to wake up and take a walk among the redwoods.

Awesome stay on Arcata!

The property was perfect for a place for two located close to town. The trails right across the street in the community forest were beautiful for my morning walks and everything we needed was right in the area.

Cozy, peaceful cottage by the sea

Lots of privacy, beautifully decorated, right across the street from the Redwood forest with hiking paths. Dogs allowed and a very cute and friendly dog to greet you!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved staying here. It was very cute and compact. Perfect for the two of us! The road could be slightly noisy at night but was the only small downside to this great little place!

Cottage in the woods

This cottage was small, cozy, comfortable, and situated in a nice, wooded neighborhood just minutes from the Community Forest’s trailhead. The towels and bedding were of good quality, and the kitchenette had everything you’d need to cook a meal. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Quiet and Cozy

This little studio was super clean and well appointed. When we blew a circuit they were right on it. Dog friendly and close to Redwood Park. We would definitely stay again.

Good location to visit Arcata!

This is a good minimal home-base for visiting Arcata. Smooth check-in, clean, everything as expected. Worth noting that winter storms can be a bit noisy in this room, as it's a mother-in-law type unit. Shower pressure / hot water excellent!
