The Space

This spacious cabin features 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The open-concept living area offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with comfortable seating for conversation, board games, or relaxing after a day outdoors.

The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals easy, while the game room featuring a Pac-Man arcade machine and foosball provides entertainment for guests of all ages.

Guest Access

Guests will have private access to the entire cabin and property during their stay, including the hot tub, game room, BBQ grill, Ooni pizza oven, outdoor fire pit, and all indoor amenities. On-site parking is available.

Located just minutes from the Henry`s Fork River, guests can enjoy world-class fly fishing, ATV riding, horseback riding, scenic hiking trails, and countless outdoor adventures. During the winter months, Island Park becomes a snowy playground with opportunities for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Yellowstone National Park is just a short drive away, making Shooting Star Lodge the perfect home base for year-round adventure.

The closest major airports are Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) in Montana and Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) in Idaho. Seasonal flights are also available through West Yellowstone Airport (WYS).

Winter Travel Advisory

Roads are regularly plowed and maintained, but weather in the Yellowstone area can change quickly. A four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is strongly recommended during the fall, winter, and spring months.

Water Information

Some homes in the Island Park area may experience slight water discoloration due to naturally occurring minerals, including iron. This is normal for the region. The home is equipped with a water softener, sediment filter, UV purification system, and carbon filter. While the water is filtered, some guests still prefer bottled drinking water during their stay, which is a common personal preference.
