Sunny Modern Self Catering Apartment

Nuestro apartamento en el primer piso está en el pequeño y virgen pueblo de Lauterbrunnen. Ubicado entre los altos muros de un valle con cizalladura famoso por sus cascadas y sus impresionantes vistas en todas direcciones. Se accede al soleado balcón orientado al sur con mesa y sillas para cenar en verano a través de grandes puertas francesas. Dentro de las áreas de sala y comedor son amplias y luminosas y están equipadas con TV y reproductor de DVD. La cocina es moderna con encimeras de granito y está muy bien equipada con vitrocerámica, nevera grande y lavavajillas. Dos hermosas habitaciones, una doble, una doble, ambas con impresionantes vistas. El baño, con ducha en la bañera, inodoro y lavabos dobles, también alberga una nueva lavadora y secadora. Todo el apartamento tiene calefacción por suelo radiante y está alicatado en todas partes. En la planta baja hay un área climatizada para guardar esquís y botas. El apartamento está convenientemente situado en la ruta del autobús con conexiones al teleférico Schilthorn y las principales estaciones de tren en el pueblo.

Great place to stay

Property was very clean and close to the bus stop which was very convenient. Honestly, we pretty much just slept here so we didn’t use the kitchen at all. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Would love to come back sometime in the summer!

Fabulous apartment! Quiet location with lovely views. Great communication with manager. Exceptional kitchen with everything you need and more. Suggest checking in first before purchasing “extras” so you don’t waste money. Washer and dryer are a real benefit! No need to over pack. Bus stop is very close, but we preferred to walk everywhere. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Location

This condo was the highlight of all our accommodations in Switzerland! That views from the balcony are breath taking and it was the perfect location for day trips around the area. We are glad we found this gem!

Perfect Spot for Adventures

Very nice, clean and well stocked ski chalet within walking distance of the Lauterbrunnen shops and restaurants. It is very close to the falls and once we found it a good location. It was clean and spacious and had a beautiful view of the valley.

A magical place.

The location was perfect, amazing view in every direction!! Centrally located to so many amazing sites. Nice distance from town, escape the tourist rush but totally walkable. The restaurant across the river is a must visit. We will be back.

Beautiful Home

We loved our stay! It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and so peaceful. We had everything we needed and more. We appreciate the helpful information about things to do in the area too. We hope to come back one day!

Amazing chalet!!

This was my family’s first time visiting Switzerland. Such a gorgeous place and this chalet really helped us be comfortable and relaxed. Great location, comfortable beds and beautiful views. Heather was superb as well and was always willing to answer any questions we had. Book this place- you won’t regret it!!!

Wonderful stay in Lauterbrunnen

Apartment was exactly as described and pictured. Location is perfect. Heather responded quickly to all questions. We loved sitting out on our balcony at the end of our hiking days watching the spectacular mountains. Lauterbrunnen is a perfect base for hiking and touring in the area. Highly recommended!

My sister and I accompanied our parents on a trip to Switzerland. We love this accommodation. It was a picturesque location, while still being close to town. We could walk or take a short bus ride. Loved being able to hear the waterfall when we opened the windows. It was easy to find and had all the comforts we required. Would gladly stay here again.

Loved the unit and it’s location. Since it’s very close to the base of the Falls, we were able to enjoy the beautiful falls during our morning walks when there were no crowd at all. It’s a beautiful unit - clean and as seen in pics. The owners were very responsive. Would definitely recommend and stay here again on our next trip. We really enjoyed our stay 😊

Great base for beautiful Lauterbrunnen

It's a clean and spacious apartment and a great base for exploring beautiful Lauterbrunnen. A word of caution: Ensure you receive detailed instructions from the host on the location and access. We didn't realise this had been overlooked and so followed the Get Directions link on the web page. This somehow pinpointed "In Der Weid 210". If you go to this address, you'll quickly be told to push-off by an angry man with an equally angry dog. Our unfortunate welcome to Lauterbrunnen after a long day's travel.

Beautiful spot

We loved the location and the space we had. We owner was super responsive and dealt with an issue quickly. One thing that could be much better would be the cleanliness. This should be addressed but other then that it was great.

Great location and all comforts of home

This place had an amazing view- people were actually stopping by the entry to take photos. It was easy to walk into town for shops/food. Kitchen had all we needed to cook a few dinners and all our breakfasts. Beds were comfortable. Appreciated the washer /dryer especially with wet/muddy week we visited. Wish we could have used balcony more but rain didn't allow much outdoor lounging. Keys were a bit difficult to use in main door-would be nice to have more then one

Perfection

We used this town location as hub to visit many other towns and sites. The hosts were excellent with communicating. The home is right off the bus route with beautiful waterfalls right outside the apartments. The home was clean with a few things you would need like toilet paper and paper towels. Everything was amazing and we would stay again in a heartbeat. We will definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to the Interlaken area.

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay here. The host (Heather) was extremely responsive to any questions we had leading up to our stay. The unit was very roomy and comfortable. The laundry was convenient in the unit and easy to use. The view from the back balcony/porch was stunning. Great water pressure in the shower/sinks. Lots of fans to help cool it down in the summer. The location was about a 10-12 minute walk from the train station/city center. Walking back into town was a bit more strenuous due to the hills, but was very convenient to the bus line that ran every 30 minutes. We wish our stay was longer!

Loved Lauterbrunnen!!

We loved our stay in Lauterbrunnen and the location of this place! Our complaint would be that there were no paper towels or napkins to use. The pillows were tiny and not very comfortable. There were some toiletries. No air conditioning, so it got pretty warm. They had a couple of fans but could have used more. Should leave instructions for using the washing machine-not intuitive at all! Overall it was a very nice place!

Die Wohnung liegt direkt neben einer Busstation und ist daher sehr praktisch, wenn man viel Gepäck hat, wie beim Ski fahren. Ebenfalls liegt das Apartment sehr zentral, so dass man mit dem Bus in wenigen Minuten beim Bahnhof, Einkaufsladen oder auch bei der Schilthornbahn ist. Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos und die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und flexibel und hat über alles Wichtige per SMS informiert.

Die Wohnung ist modern und schön. Es haben 3 Jugendliche im Zimmer 2 geschlafen, das war platzmässig knapp, aber okay für 6 Tage. Der Kontakt mit der Inhaberin war top. Zur Skipiste ging's per Bus, dann Zug oder Gondelbahn. Klappt gut! Morgens Bäcker -> Auto. Alles in allem, wir planen zurückzukommen!

Wonderful stay in Lauterbrunnen

The property was as portrayed in the photographs. Very comfortable, cozy, and well located with a nice balcony. The apartment was convenient for the bus - steps away from the bus stop. We were also able to get into town by walking through the campsite behind the chalets. It goes without saying the area is stunning. We hope to return and would stay in this apartment again.

Comfort in a majestic location!

We loved our stay in this darling VRBO in Lauterbrunnen! Communication was easy and very helpful, sending us specific directions to the apartment. Check in was easy and we were able to check in on our time table. Public transportation was easy and quick to the train station and around the valley. The beds were very comfortable and the entire home felt comfortable and very much like a home away from home. We happened to be traveling when most of Europe was breaking records with the heat- so I was a little worried about how hot it might be inside, but we were very comfortable with the fans provided. It was perfect and we would love to come back one day!
