The Cottage

Bedroom: Cozy up in a queen-sized bed with plush linens and serene forest views.

Living Room: Relax by the propane fireplace on comfortable leather couches, or pull down the full-size Murphy bed for additional sleeping space. Enjoy the large picture window that frames stunning river and forest views.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, bar seating, and all the cookware, bakeware, plates, and utensils you need for home-cooked meals.

Bathroom: Modern glass shower with gorgeous evergreen views. Plush towels and toiletries provided.

Laundry: Washer and dryer available for your convenience.

Outdoor Oasis

This was such a beautiful place to stay. We would love to return again! The setting was serene, everything on the property was so well thought out, and it is very close to incredible sightseeing and hiking. Highly recommend!!

Enchanting Cabin

The property is gorgeous and quiet. Being right by the river with doors closed the noise is surprising low making it easy to enjoy the views.

The property location is amazing, very nice furnishings, and the fireplace was great. The experience overall was a bit disappointing however. The night of check in, we could not access the property at first, because the door code that was sent from the host was wrong. With no cell service, we had to leave and go down the road until we had service. Once i was able to get into the VRBO app, we discovered a completley different code was provided. We were able to gain entry finally. The towels were still in the dryer, which we folded and put away. Spiders were in the bathroom mainly, but also on the bedroom wall. The internet instructions are outdated on the app and at the property. We figured out how to connect to the current internet provider they use, but the service was spotty and unreliable. We had no way to contact host to communcate these issues. The deck overlooking the river would have been great to sit on and enjoy, except the chairs provided were soaking wet. Wouldve been great if they had covets for them for when it rains. In my opinion, we did not get value for the price we paid.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the property’s location, furnishings, and fireplace, but we’re truly sorry that several issues affected your stay. We sincerely apologize for the incorrect door code that was initially sent. We understand how frustrating that must have been, especially with limited cell service. We have since updated our processes to ensure guests receive the correct access information before arrival. We’re also sorry about the towels still being in the dryer and the spiders you encountered. As a cabin in the Olympic Peninsula, the occasional spider can find its way inside despite regular pest treatments, but our cleaning procedures have been reinforced to help prevent this. We have also updated all of our internet instructions after installing new Starlink service, which now provides much faster and more reliable internet than what was available during your stay. Thank you as well for the suggestion regarding the deck chairs. We appreciate thoughtful feedback like yours as we continue making improvements for future guests. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to learn and improve.

Perfect Getaway!

This property was a dream! The owner thought of everything we could possibly need and was quick to respond when we had a question. We enjoyed ALL of the amenities, including the hot tub and fire pit for S’mores. The house was perfectly located close to everything on our bucket list. We saw Ruby Beach, Madison Falls, Crescent Lake, Forks, the Hoh Rain Forest, and La Push Beach in just 2 days! There was a terrible tragedy that closed down the Sol Duc Falls during our stay, but we were quickly able to pivot and find other activities nearby. We would recommend this stay to anyone!

Seriously- DO NOT HESITATE, if the dates are open book it!! My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The pictures are amazing but still can’t capture just how magical it is to hear that wonderful sound of the river from the porch and hot tub. The house was cute, clean and comfortable. The host is great, check in/out was a breeze, I just can’t say enough good things. Sitting in the chair by the window with the fireplace on watching the river was like heaven. We even saw bald eagles fly through multiple times! The location is great to explore Olympic NP, there is always a little driving involved it you really explore a lot, which we did but it was a great neutral home base. The house had privacy, it was quiet and well thought out. Wr stay at so many wonderful vacation rentals and this one is now at the top of our list.

I absolutely love this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of natural beauty, outdoor adventure, and serene surroundings. Being so close to Olympic National Park, I’m surrounded by incredible opportunities to explore. Highlights like Sol Duc Falls (24 miles), Hurricane Ridge (30 miles), and the iconic Hoh Rain Forest (88 miles) make it a paradise for nature lovers. The nearby Elwha River (14 miles) and stunning hikes such as Marymere Falls and Mount Storm King at Lake Crescent (22 miles) are just a short drive away.

The area also features amazing coastal attractions, like Salt Creek Recreation Area (20 miles) with tidepools and trails, and the unique Dungeness Spit (40 miles), which offers miles of sandy shoreline to explore. For those looking for even more adventure, the Ozette Triangle Trail (62 miles) leads to breathtaking Pacific coast views.

I also love the proximity to additional attractions like Ediz Hook (14 miles), which provides panoramic views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and whale-watching tours that depart from downtown Port Angeles. For a touch of international flair, the ferry to Victoria, BC is just 14 miles away, making it easy to enjoy a day trip to Canada.

This neighborhood truly has something for everyone, from hiking and wildlife spotting to relaxing in peaceful, scenic surroundings. It’s a place I feel lucky to call home and love sharing with others!
