We were totally charmed!!
We came to Teton Village and were surprised to enter an unbelievably charming home that we rented for a few days. Anna told us that we were the first to try out the new mattress in the master bedroom. We were totally enthralled with the lovely home we rented, with incredible original art on the walls, comfortable leather and fabric furniture, TV and WIFI that worked great, a well stocked country kitchen with large dining table, three comfortable bedrooms and lovely antique furniture throughout; also great views our the back windows. We couldn't have been happier and will come back soon with more people. There is a wonderful entry area patio with barbeque, picnic table and bistro table with comfortable high chairs that we wish we had enough people with us to use. By the way, the new mattress was subline! We slept very comfortably and felt
energized the next morning. We will never rent a hotel room again, when
we can find a place like this, even for a short stay. We really hated to leave!
Thanks, Anna and Peter for your helpful advice on restaurants and things
to do in Jackson Hole that we wish we had more time to do. We'll be back!
We very much enjoyed this property! Perfect place to relax after sightseeing all day. It was bigger than expected. Plenty of space for all of us. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect for our needs. We saw wildlife in the area behind the condo daily.
The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need and plenty of dishes for 4 of us so we weren't constantly running the dishwasher. All of the appliances are brand new which was a big plus. Having some normal household supplies such as paper towels, detergent, condiments, etc. made things easier for us. Condo was super clean and well maintained. It had fantastic artwork and homey decor.
The condo was very convenient to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. Grand Teton Park was only 1 mile drive from Teton Village.
Anna was most helpful and responsive to our email questions both prior to our visit and after our arrival, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. She provided recommendations for dining and activities around the area which were very helpful.
We look forward to returning.
Clean home but not what was expected
The home was clean, however the beds are TERRIBLE! The master bed is so hard you might as well sleep on the floor. It was an older home with a few modern updates. I guess you get what you pay for. I give it 2 stars for the cleanliness but that's all it has going for it.
We were very hesitant to rent to Shannon, since she has a history of leaving nothing but bad reviews for all properties she stayed in. However, it was a shoulder season and she didn't have many options of affordable accommodation for her group. Most of the hotels are still closed in April and majority of the rental condos don't allow 1 night stays. We take the opinions and suggestions of our renters into consideration and our bed will be replaced tomorrow. Thank you Shannon for your suggestion. We really appreciate that you have noticed how clean the house was. We enjoyed having you as a guest and thank you for taking such a good care of our property.
Older Unit but was fine for our needs
Pros - Nice unit with plenty of rooms and space, nicely decorated and well maintained. Located within walking distance of a lift that will get you to the Tram and Main mountain base area. There is also a shuttle bus that will pick you up right in front of the condo and take you to the lift or to the main mountain base area. Bathrooms have been updated and look good.
Cons - The unit is located very close to the sewage treatment plant for the development. The smell can be very strong once you walk outside. You cannot smell it when you are inside the unit ONLY outside. The master bed mattress is very hard and uncomfortable. Kitchen cabinets are showing their age. There is construction going on directly behind the units master bedroom and large construction equipment starts operating at 7:00 AM and its loud combined with the beeping alarm attached to the construction equipment. Once the construction is complete this will no longer be an issue.
Fantastic condo, extremely comfortable, well outfitted
We had a wonderful 7 night stay in late March at the Villa Fitzgerald. The photos don't adequately reveal the truly comfortable spaces in the condo. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a new fridge and it and the dining area are one larger space (the photos show it as two). The couch and living room chairs are comfy, the various heating areas responded to settings, and the whirlpool bath was a delight. New photos should be taken to show that the sunroom now has a solid roof. Shuttle to the base lodge was very convenient.
Nice place... priced right... with a couple things we'd like to see upgraded.
Overall our visit went well. The accommodations were as described. The owner/manager was responsive to our inquiries. For the price, I think 4 stars is appropriate. I somehow missed that there wasn't a hot tub available, but the price reflected that. Also, if you want a fire, make sure you buy some firewood as the HOA does not provide. Cutlery was adequate; some upgraded skillets, either non stick or cast iron, would have better enabled our culinary adventures. Ski-out access requires timing with the 15-minute frequency of the shuttle bus, or a bit of a hike up the 300 meter road to the nearest lift. We utilized the garage for ski storage, but one would think a condo at Teton Village would have something more convenient like a mud room and ski & boot storage.
