Lovely setting in the Virginia countryside.

Our brief stay at Loudon Valley Manor could not have been more enjoyable!! The expansive property is impressive! We were warmly greeted by Olga, our delightful Hostess, upon arrival and quickly settled in. She encouraged us to make ourselves comfortable as she led us to 'The Golden Room'. The room is spacious, clean and charmingly furnished, exactly as advertised.

Each morning we were served yummy omelettes with great coffee, juices and an assortment of artisan breads. It was the perfect way to start the day and fuel up for our many adventures.

Loudon County is rich in history. Vineyards sprawl across the landscape and there is lush vegetation on the rolling hills of Catoctin "Mountain". (We're from the West where our mountains range much higher, haha) There are ample recreational opportunities in the area from rafting to hiking, riding horses or bicycles, shopping or just exploring. There is a brewery, "Dirt Farm", nearby with tasty brews and stunning views.

We are most certainly enchanted with the region and are eager to return. When we do, Loudon Valley Manor will be our haven and headquarters.

A gem of a find

  • 5 of 5

We found Loudon Manor to be a lovely discovery for an overnight stay. The location was quiet and secluded while still an easy drive to Leesburg and Harper's Ferry. It is a fairly large estate with several room options. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast all made fresh that morning.

Excellent accommodations

  • 4 of 5

Our stay at Loudon Valley Manor was very pleasant. Our host Olga was very accommodating and provided us with all we needed for a restful stay away from the hubbub of the Washington metro area. We are looking forward to staying there again on our next trip to the Leesburg area and hope to enjoy more fully the lovely, bucolic areas around the house.

We had a great stay last weekend at Loudon Valley Manor. The room was as pictured, everything was spotless and the property is very quiet and restful. Olga was the perfect host and treated us to a wonderful breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay

This place is fantastic, and Olga is amazing. We came to see Harpers Ferry with the Fall foliage, and decided to stay here. Gorgeous country setting, beautiful home, amazing views. It was everything we were expecting and more.

Beautiful place and setting.

  • 5 of 5

We immediately felt at home here. It is close to all that Loudon valley has to offer, yet you are staying in this beautiful country setting. The winery at Waterford(literally walking distance) was Awesome!!!!! Super Nice owner too!!! We were recommended to go to Magnolia's at the mill and Happy we did. The cherry on top was having breakfast and getting to chat with Olga before we got on with our day. She is a fascinating person and a wonderful host. My hubby and I look forward to our next visit where we hope to stay for more than one night.

Dulles International
Nearest Restaurant
3 Miles
Car: necessary

The best way to be directed to my place is GPS.

If you use other means, just get to the Route 9 whichever direction you will be coming from. I am a half mile off Route 9 on Old Wheatland Road. Once you turn into Old Wheatland Road from Route 9, watch for the first 90-degree turn (about 300 feet), where you will see 4 mail boxes on the poles. That's the place where you need to make an immediate turn to the left to enter the access road to the B&B. Do not miss that turn! Off the short hill you will see a white big house on the right. It is your destination: Loudoun Valley Manor B&B.
