Nice little cottage in a little community on a cove off the lake. Well stocked, including a pod style coffeemaker. Communication with host was great. Close to town of Chapin which had a supermarket and a couple of nice resturants. Highly recommendThe Daily Grind for breakfastTEAGUE'S MARKET- good butcher next store to Daily GrindJR Cash's for lunch/dinner518 Smokehouse - extensive draft beer and bourbon listWater can be shallow, so pontoon or shallow draft is recommended. This may vary by season as we were there in early Sept.

More than expected!

Beautiful, clean, lakefront property! I rented somewhat last minute and was pleasantly surprised! Lakefront home was very clean. Communication with owner was amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

Served its purpose but needs a handyman to do some work

Overall good. Had some bug issues in kitchen, could not get the family room fan to work and porch fan speed does not work. Home needs some fix up with fans and ceiling cracks. Needs more lighting in family room. Outdoor grill is unusable. A book with some general guidance would be helpful to help know what to do on checkout. Maybe a guest register for comments. Recommend to have a handyman go thru the house and do inspection and repair of items found.

Thanks for your feedback, Ben. The ants have been handled by our pest control company. The checkout guidance is minimal but we'll be sure to post it clearly in addition to the guide available on the rental site. We will also checkout your concerns on the fan speed and the grill.

This cute house was so much better than the photos described. It was very clean, well organized and very modern. We didn’t do much cooking there, as we had other family in town, but it was so nice to go back to a large comfortable bed. We will rent this house again.
