Beach Bum Weekend Stay

Beach Bum weekend was a blast; highly recommend visiting Tybee for this event. House was easy to walk to restaurants & beach; would bring a wagon, walk to the beach is a little much with beach gear. Would stay here again!

Beach getaway

The property was very clean and nicely decorated. The listing says entire house however it’s a duplex. Not an issue . A few blocks from the beach which was great.

This was my second time renting this location. I didn't like the television arrangements. Great location and house for a quick vacation but not for not for an extended stay.

Weekend getaway

Overall ok. Didn’t know it was a duplex. Listing states whole house. My thoughts were it’s a two story house but instead top/bottom duplex. A little misleading. Could use a good cleaning. There were dead bugs on the floor. Bathroom door handle very loose to the point of about to come off. Location is ok. Close to. 12th street beach entrance. About 15 min walk.

This was a cute little place for a Friday-Sun stay in late August. The home was spacious enough for Four adults. The kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking needs. The bathroom was smaller than expected for only one bathroom but it was functional. The bedrooms were very spacious and temperature in both were nice and comfortable both day and night. The home is older and I guess the mold/mildew smell comes along with that but the smell was very prevalent during the night time. It tripped my Asthma on second night. The listing said within walking distance of beach. The beach was about 2/3miles up and down off US80 and with mobile limitations we were glad our mom had her mobility scooter. The Host was very responsive and friendly during our communications Access to home was a breeze but if there can be a sign with address at the front that would be great. We drove by couple times using Google Maps. Oh and please get a new dishwasher! That thing sounds like a beast when running. Please also note guests there is only one TV in the home located in the main family room.

First time staying at this house and it made our Tybee trip that much better. From the full kitchen to the comfy sofa, big bedrooms and of course the AC! Can't forget the Grateful Dead love sprinkled around. Made us Deadheads that much happier! We know where we are staying the next time!
