About The Owner

Owner has owned and operated several vacation rental properties in Punta Mita, Mexico, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Attention to comfort and ease of use, as well as good design and art are essential aspects of the rental experience important to this owner.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1993

Why The Owner chose Historic Eastside

This property is so special. It was built in the 1800s, and is one of the few pitched roof buildings in historic Santa Fe. The monumental pine columns on the front porch were brought to Santa Fe on the Santa Fe Railway, when it first started operating. Located on the most historically significant and beautiful street in Santa Fe, home to two of Santa Fe's oldest art galleries and leather shops, this building is rich with history and charm. We have lovingly restored its plaster walls, hardwood floors, and hand crafted hardware.

What makes this condo unique

Walk to Santa Fe's finest restaurants and art galleries, on the gem of historic Santa Fe--Canyon Road!

Warm, comfortable, perfectly located.

  • 5 of 5

725 Canyon Road is not new, but exudes the warmth and spirit of Santa Fe. It is well appointed and perfectly located. Rubs shoulders with a plethora of art galleries, sculptures and decorative objects of every shape and form, and within easy walking distance of some of the best restaurants in the city. A joy to come home to after a busy day in the city and environs. Santa Fe is truly one of America's unique cities. A gem of a place to visit and experience.

Historic and comfortable place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay and found the apartment roomy. We used the gas fireplace on the cool evenings and sat outside warm afternoons. We explored Canyon road a number of times going to and from the plaza area. Mike was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, grocery stores and day trips. Arriving and departing was easy. We ate at the Tea House and Caffe El Greco - both an easy walk. There is a daytime free shuttle to downtown Santa Fe - we did not use it, choosing to walk instead. We were very happy with the location and enjoyed the apartment.

Best vacation rental!

  • 5 of 5

We totally enjoyed this apartment. It was spacious and quiet. Very well thought out to have everything we needed. The tv cable has very limited stations and we had to wean ourselves off news but that was not all bad. Overall this was a great week even if it did rain and snow some. Santa Fe is a lovely city and this apartment is within 20 minutes walking distance of the plaza.

Sweet Condo, Beautiful Spot!

  • 5 of 5

We found this rental to be warm, welcoming, beautiful. The pictures can't do it justice. It feels like you are immersed in Santa Fe: art on the walls, history, beauty. It was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Shower is great, bed is so comfortable. It's in the most historic area of Santa Fe and walkable to restaurants and galleries. I would highly recommend it!!

Santa Fe casita

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year to stay above the gallery. The location is as good as you could find in all of Santa Fe. Everyone made us feel like we were coming home...including our dogs!

We love being across the street from Geronimo's restaurant...

being surrounded by great art and having a terrific outdoor space.

We had to leave unexpectedly and Tonya was kind enough to send all of our laundry which was left behind. We really can't imagine staying anywhere else in Santa Fe...hope we will be welcomed back!

fantastic location, beautiful updated historic apartment

  • 5 of 5

We were thrilled with our stay in this vacation rental! The beautiful Mexican tile, the old beams, the incredible spaciousness,

the open floor plan (yet doors that closed off the bedroom for privacy if wanted). The aesthetic sense of the owners was present everywhere from the artwork hanging in the walls to the great long table and chairs in the dining area, to the tilework in the kitchen and bathroom. The whole time we were there we kept discovering new aspects to appreciate. It was very well stocked, we had no need of anything that was not there, and it was impeccable. The giant bed in the bedroom was a special treat - and the lights in the tiled alcoves on both sides, we felt like royalty.

We also felt our car was very safe tucked away as it was in the back, away from traffic on Canyon Road, and private.

I would absolutely recommend this to others, without reservation.

We will come back again whenever possible.

Thank you for a purely delightful stay!
