This was our second vacation to St John and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the fact that it had a great view but was not so far up the hill that driving up and down was annoying. It was in a great location, very close to Coral Bay restaurants and shopping as well as a short drive to beaches on both the north and south shores. It was fun seeing little goats come to drink out of the pool daily as well. It had everything we needed in regards to kitchen equipment, supplies, etc. The King bed was very comfortable and the outdoor shower was a fun twist. Just 2 small suggestions to make the property even better: Because there is only one small bathroom, it would be handy to have another mirror on a wall somewhere. Also, there is a small gap in the door leading to the outdoor shower that could be easily remedied with some weather stripping to prevent bugs from getting in. Overall, great stay, would come again!

The views from the villa are outstanding. The location is perfect being a short distance from both Coral Bay and the north shore beaches. Property management team was easy to work with.

We loved this villa!!! The views are amazing!!! We felt lucky to see that view every day. The house was spacious, the balcony was great, the pool was really nice, and the beds were comfortable. It took some getting used to the road and driveway leading to the house. My only complaint is that there was barely enough hot water for 3 quick showers. Otherwise, everything was perfect! Carley was great at communicating. We would definitely return!

We have stayed in several villas in this area of STJ and this is the first that we want to rebook. AATV is beautifully furnished, provisioned well and so comfortable for two couples. We spent a great deal of time on the covered porch overlooking Coral Bay and beyond to the BVI’s…amazing. We had grown accustomed to steep scary driveways in other villas, but what a delightful change to pull right in off the main road on a flat drive! Property management was also exceptional and readily available (thank you for your help Keri!) Two rather minor negatives that will certainly not keep us from rebooking…1) master bath is right off the main living area rather than connected directly to the bedroom 2) our guests said the lower level bedroom had a very uncomfortable mattress. Overall, we were super pleased with our stay at AATV and can’t wait to return!!

My wife and Ioved Sea Cottage. It has a beautiful view of Coral Bay and beyond, in an incredibly peaceful jungle setting. The hosts are wonderful and extremely responsive. Like most places on St John, having a 4wd vehicle is a "must." We would 100% stay at Sea Cottage again and would recommend it to any couple looking for a place to stay on St John.

We can’t say enough about our stay. The house was phenomenal and the views were incredible. This house has everything you will need for an enjoyable vacation. You are just a few minutes drive to any beach on the island. There is plenty enough space for everyone to spread out for a little alone time or privacy. If you can think of something you may need this house will have it. Our host met us exactly when she said and gave a very thorough tour of the home. You definitely need a Jeep to get up the driveway but after a few trips its not a problem at all getting use to the curves. We are already talking about coming back again!

First the view! Stunning! When you first walk out onto the huge patio, it is “Oh wow!” The view down the BVI never gets old. The furnishings are excellent throughout the villa. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen thoroughly stocked with everything you could need. Weber Grill on the patio cooks great. I have been going to St John on and off for 38 years and have rented many homes. This is one of the nicest, and most certainly the best view. Lindsey is great to deal with. Working with nice people is such a bonus. Would most certainly stay here again. Thanks Lindsey!

When my husband and I were looking for a relatively last-minute getaway, we felt so fortunate to have found Papaya Moon. It was a truly beautiful, quiet and complete package with luscious gardens and stunning views. The owners, Ron and Sue, were attentive and helpful for these first-time St John visitors. The unit had no AC, but the fans, trade winds and open windows with screens made it very comfortable. There were beach towels and a great beach bag waiting on is to use for the week. While we didn’t use the pool, we enjoyed the hot tub a few evenings and it was so nice to have access to both steps from the unit. Our only issues we had were some tiny sugar ants that kept coming in (an issue that happens all the time at the beach) and the proximity of the property to the main Cruz Bay area. If you are interested in dinner and/or drinks in the downtown in the evening, the drive back to the property is dark, curvy and a little nerve racking. We ended up arranging taxis two nights so we didn’t have to drive, and that was expensive, but worth it to us. However, if you want a peaceful retreat, and don’t have a desire to go to Cruz Bay much with excellent proximity to the beautiful north shore beaches, this is your place! We loved our stay and would love to come back.
