My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Aqua Villa. We’ve been to St. John many times, but this is the first time we’ve stayed on the east side of the island. I much much preferred staying here, perched up in the hills with a beautiful view of coral bay to staying in Cruz bay. We were extremely comfortable in the villa - the renovation is so nicely done - but the highlight is the delightful wraparound deck. It was so lovely to have this zen space to come chill on after a day exploring the island. There are incredible plantings all around the house, which plant lovers will appreciate. The giant banana plants adjacent to the deck make you feel like you’re really in a tropical paradise. Going into coral bay for dinner was a nice option, as was cooking at home. The house is well stocked with beach gear, including tons of snorkel stuff (I hadn’t seen that listed, so I had already rented in Cruz bay). Overall wonderful and we would love to come stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The place was well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished. The beach chairs were incredibly comfortable, and there were plenty of coolers and beach towels, which made our beach days so convenient. The beds were super cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep. We also loved spending time on the porch—it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views of Coral Bay, East End, USVI and Tortola. The host was very responsive and made everything easy for us. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent place for some relaxation and exploring of the island. Very good accommodations overlooking Coral Bay. The supplies are very plentiful within the kitchen and linen supplies. The cooler and beach accessories are very helpful. We used the chairs, beach towels, cooler and floaties daily. Overall, this place is great! The only drawback is that the main road down the hill does lead to a fair amount of vehicle noise at times. So it's not always peaceful and quiet. That is hard to find though on a smaller island like this.

If you see all of the 5 star ratings & wonder if something fishy is going on - let me assure you that the reviews are true & spot on! The "It's About Time Villa" deserves 5 stars and I'd give the property managers, Mike & Diana even a few more if I could! The location, views and all of the accommodations at the villa are the best! Well equipped with all that you need and then some. Mike & Diana went over & beyond to answer questions and support our needs on our vacation! Super responsive and communication was easy & so very helpful. Absolutely the best place that I've stayed on the island! So don't hesitate, you won't regret it!

This was our second vacation to St John and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the fact that it had a great view but was not so far up the hill that driving up and down was annoying. It was in a great location, very close to Coral Bay restaurants and shopping as well as a short drive to beaches on both the north and south shores. It was fun seeing little goats come to drink out of the pool daily as well. It had everything we needed in regards to kitchen equipment, supplies, etc. The King bed was very comfortable and the outdoor shower was a fun twist. Just 2 small suggestions to make the property even better: Because there is only one small bathroom, it would be handy to have another mirror on a wall somewhere. Also, there is a small gap in the door leading to the outdoor shower that could be easily remedied with some weather stripping to prevent bugs from getting in. Overall, great stay, would come again!

My mother, sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, immaculately clean home high above Coral Bay! The views over to the British Virgin Islands are superb, particularly at sunrise, and the landscaping on this private, gated property is gorgeous. We each enjoyed a private, air-conditioned bedroom and bath (the showers in the two open air baths on the main level are beautifully designed), and the house is well stocked with condiments, pans, dishes, etc. We did wish that there were screens on the doors out to the pool (as there are on the windows on the opposite side of the home) to allow for cross breezes through the great room, as the living/kitchen/indoor dining area was on the warm side (AC would solve this as well). Communication with the owners and manager of the property was easy with a quick response to one issue we did have. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again, particularly given the perfect location for easy access to both the north shore beaches and the east end beaches (great snorkeling at North and South Haulover). We have stayed in several villas in this area of STJ and this is the first that we want to rebook. AATV is beautifully furnished, provisioned well and so comfortable for two couples. We spent a great deal of time on the covered porch overlooking Coral Bay and beyond to the BVI’s…amazing. We had grown accustomed to steep scary driveways in other villas, but what a delightful change to pull right in off the main road on a flat drive! Property management was also exceptional and readily available (thank you for your help Keri!) Two rather minor negatives that will certainly not keep us from rebooking…1) master bath is right off the main living area rather than connected directly to the bedroom 2) our guests said the lower level bedroom had a very uncomfortable mattress. Overall, we were super pleased with our stay at AATV and can’t wait to return!!

The home was as advertised with an excellent sweeping view from mid-mountain top! We stayed for a wonderful 5 nights, close to downtown locations Rams head, ect. Downtown restaurants we're good with open mics and a Saturday morning bazaar. The owner and manager were super supportive, very helpful and a pleasure to do business with! Would stay there again!
