We are born and raised in the Houston area with great memories of Galveston growing up. We often stayed at the Victorian while raising our children and loved the location and cozy feeling of the unit. We have owned a 2nd home for us in Galveston since 2003 and have invested in rental property also. We bought this unit with the thoughts we might possibly live there one day so we have updated it and keep it in top notch shape.

The location of this property is unbeatable. The view of the ocean is ultimate. There are a lot of retail and restaurants in walking distance. WELCOME TO OUR CONDO!!! Address: Victorian Condominiums 6300 Seawall #2104 Galveston, TX 77551 (800) 231-6363 Please remember I am the owner and responsible for the unit. The number above is if you need other assistance. Location: With your back to the ocean our condo is the first one on the right, just above the parking garage. The stairs and the elevator are very near our unit. Guidelines: Please be respectful of our home and treat it as if it were yours. Register your vehicle/vehicles in the front office at the circle drive. There will be a $23 fee plus tax that covers 2 vehicles. There will be another $23 charged if there is a 3rd car which this fee will cover the 4th car too. Also ask the desk for the wifi code and codes for the pool and fitness center. These codes change frequently. No pets No smoking Please do your best to keep sand out of the condo. Do not let children jump on beds. Check in is 4pm. Check out is 11am. You will be charged for checking out late. If myself or my housekeeper is not there for check in, I will put a key in the lockbox to the right of the door. The code is 5960. Please put all soiled towels and rags in the bathtub upon leaving. Leave beds unmade with sheets on upon leaving. If sleeper sofa is used, please leave sofa bed unfolded. Keep all doors and windows closed at all times. Start dishwasher Take out all trash when leaving. When staying during the below months, please place the thermostat on: March-October 76 degrees November -February a/c 80 degrees...heater 65 degrees LOCK DOOR when leaving and place key back into lockbox. Great place. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. Listing stated to bring dish soaps, hand soap, toilet paper and shampoo . pleasantly surprised all of these things were there ( I did pack mine)
Beds were comfortable. We had a great time.
This is our 4th summer to stay here. Beautiful and comfy, as always. The weather was awful, but the array of board games kept the kids busy!
The Late Night Check-Ins and Hidden Fees!
For anyone traveling and/or arriving late, the front office closes at 11pm. To obtain your parking pass and gate code to access the complex you must arrive before 11pm otherwise you will not have access through the front gates nor will you obtain a parking pass and you will be worried of being towed all night long. The condo was beautiful and in a great location. The price listed per night is no where near what you'll be paying though. After booking your stay, there will be a "trip protection" and "resort fee" and all sorts of outrageous fees to where the amount of fees I was paying was more than the stay per night. There were prior discussions that I told the property manager, on multiple occasions, that we were to be arriving late. The night we arrived, and discovered the problems, we contacted the property manager for solutions, and did not receive word back until the morning.
I'm so sorry for the confusion when you arrived. We have owned this condo for 3 years and never had a problem with check ins late at night. We were told someone or security would be a the desk 24/7.
I emailed the property manager the next morning and was told there is only someone at the desk from 7am to 11pm and security is now 7pm-7am. This has changed in the last 2 months and I was not aware of the change. I apologize for the inconvenience and I would have been upset also! I understand the unsettled feeling that your car will be towed. It is also important to note...it was 1:00am when you messaged me and I did contact you first thing the next morning and you didn't have to pay the parking fee. You also were able to enter the unit as soon as you arrived so you were not delayed going into the unit.
The "trip protection" is an alternative for a deposit that HomeAway charges to protect you and me. However I'm not aware of any other fees other than the one time resort fee of $30 for the pool, jacuzzis, wifi, tennis courts, bar-b-q grill etc. They also charge taxes which is required by the government. To my knowledge you can see all the fees before you pay for your stay.

We really enjoyed stay. Great location beach across street, shopping one block away and restaurants starting a block away.
Lousy weather...but great Spring Break trip!
We enjoyed the property. The weather did not cooperate since it was foggy, rainy, and cool. So, we did not get to enjoy the heated pool or the hot tubs. We used to visit this property as a hotel when our kids were young...felt nice to return with our grandchildren. We felt quite safe with the 24-hour security services and one cannot beat the location...right in the middle of everything fun to do in Galveston.
We plan to return in the very near future...hopefully, the weather will be much better.
