This ranch house is in a great location and was an excellent launching spot for Durango and Mesa Verde. The majestic Hackberry trees on the property must be hundreds of years old. Everything was well stocked with plenty of supplies and it made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Great hosts!

The Redmesa cottage was a perfect place for me and my son to stay while visiting Durango. It rained during our trip but we were still able to grill outside. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve a meal. The host also provided Ramen (my 17 year old loved this) and makings for 'smores. The coffee was great too! Sunset right out the back door was spectacular!

Spring Break Retreat!

Some friends and I were wanting some time away from the city, and this spot was an excellent location! The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating, and the property was amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and flexible location; I know I will definitely be looking out for these hosts for future adventures in Colorado!

Cute little place with a few quirks. Communication with the host was outstanding. They were friendly, responded to questions quickly, and had lots of fun treats and helpful information about local attractions and restaurants waiting for us when we arrived. The pet accommodations were excellent, and there were many toys in the basement for the kids to play with, as well as different TV streaming options, a few games, and even outdoor activities that unfortunately we weren't able to use because it rained the entire time we were there.My only real complaints are about the actual structure of the house, and the ease of use for our kids and my older parents. The basement stairway situation felt pretty unsafe. There were exposed screws on the banister wall, a low spot overhead to bonk your noggin on (not uncommon for an old basement, I suppose), and an exposed sewage pipe with a rubber boot apparently being used to stop leaks?Honestly, I'm bummed to have any negative comments because the hosts were truly a pleasure to do business with, but the home itself has a few concerning issues.Maybe we'll try to find a different property from the same host if we visit in the future.

The host, Gracie, was absolutely wonderful. Upon entering the home, we were greeted with treats for our dogs, and treats for us as well. The home is just like it looks in the photos.
