You could take the kiddos with you there's plenty of room inside and outside where they can play and there's a few owls that are hanging out around the place and there's a few turkeys out there as well its a nice quiet place once the sun goes down and what few cars that go past the place are in for the night it's super quite out there
The house was exactly what we needed while we were in town for the Mammoth March. Rose was a great host and communicated everything we needed for a great stay.
Beautiful property. No interruptions during our stay at all. Conveniently located less than a minute from the river. Perfect place to decompress and recover from everything life like to throw your way.
Pretty area clean quiet close to fishing areas nice deck and fire pit it does have well water but they told us in advance and supplied drinking water the only negatives were the stairs are steep and the bathroom door wouldn't latch but not a big deal for us we had a blast
Concerned about the smell of water and feel when showering. Owner said its well but i feel it needs to be check and treated. They did respond saying its country living. But house i own in Poconos is checked and treated and that is well water. They did leave drinking water. House is cute. Basement steps are steep not for an elderly person.
Our car got stuck trying to pull in the driveway due to uphill and loose gravel. It took a running start each time to get to the house. Then the only entrance to the house was thru the basement and up very steep and narrow staircase. Ok i guess for young folks but not good for senior citizens. The water was horrible. Felt slimy and stunk like fish pond water. Host did provide lots of drinking water which was greater appreciated. The location was great, secluded with lots of trees and outdoor space.

I’m sorry that you had trouble with the driveway, it was recently graveled. We have not had any trouble navigating.
Our home is a country home with well water, which is common for the area.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
