A beautiful week in a beautiful home

I’ll start by saying this is by far the nicest VRBO property we have ever stayed in. It’s spacious so you’re in not too of one another. The kitchen is stocked with quite literally everything but a crockpot (and I wanted a new one anyway). But the overwhelming feeling was one of comfort. Someone actually lives here and has made this comfortable. The real surprise for me was that, while it was comfortable, it was also classy. I literally took pictures of the furniture and rug and the makers as well as the console behind the sofa. The decorating was done so well - if this owner isn’t an interior designer, he or she should be. If I had to make one complaint (and it’s more of a “hey think about this for the next guests” type of thing), it’s that we had a hard time figuring out remotes for the primary and living room televisions. I think there were four in the living room. :) We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in a nice quiet neighborhood, well equipped, easy beach access.

The house was very nice and very well kept. There were many "extras" in the home that were nice to have such as radios, game systems (although the controller for the Xbox did not work). The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The decks on every level front and back were nice to avoid the sun. The back decks are very private with trees all around it. It is a very short walk to the beach access point. The only real complaint we have is that the freezer would not get cold enough. Ice cream that we bought became extremely soft. The refrigerator also has a leak around the edge of the ice/water dispenser that is causing it to rust out below it. The check in/check out was very easy with the automated lock. It is a bit of a pain to have the kitchen on the 3rd floor (lots of going up and down steps) and with bedrooms on the second floor the noise from the 3rd floor was very noticeable. , However, how nice everything was made up for it all the minor issues. Loved the sailboat lamp above the dining table!

One tip for future reference, while many people love the Reverse Floorplan layout with the main living area on the top floor to maximize gorgeous views, some might find it to be a lot of stairs. Great place - Short walk to ocean.

Very comfortable house. Worked well for our party of six adults. We thought with the kitchen, dining and tv area on 3rd floor, it would be tiring at the end of every day, but it wasn’t a problem.

Perfect Beach Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Spotlessly clean, set-up was perfect, easy private beach access. Close to town, yet on a quiet side street. Loved all the decks off each side of the house. There were plenty of opportunities to find a quiet spot when needed. (I especially enjoyed the porch swing on the top, front deck.) We would absolutely rent this home again!

Beautiful Home and Location

This is our fourth year staying on Topsail Island and this is by far the best property we have rented. Beautiful home and a very short walk to private beach access. The house was comfortable and clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Our family enjoyed our home away from home.

Excellent house for beach vacation. Plenty of space for 8 + a 2 minute walk to the beach. This house is the most stocked house we’ve stayed in Plenty of dishes, silverware, cups, etc. We felt very much “at home”.
