Welcome to The Palms 801! We are the only five bedroom beachfront condo in all of Jaco. At the time of this writing, we have 75 reviews (74 five star, 1 four star). All reviews came before we did a massive update on all of the interior and balcony. In October 2024 we updated everything! We have new beds, furniture, bathrooms, floor tiles, wallpaper, art, closets, and appliances. Palms 801 was already the best rental unit in all of Jaco prior to the construction updates, but now the condo is flawless.

Our goal at Palms 801 is to provide you an amazing place to stay and help you enjoy the perfect vacation. Palms 801 is a truly special place and we want to be part of the best vacation you will ever have. Our mission is to make you want to come back to Costa Rica again and again.

Palms 801 covers the entire 8th floor of The Palms. We have a fully covered 52' x 13' balcony that makes for the perfect place to have breakfast, see the beach, enjoy sunrise and sunset, or just relax. Palms 801 is also handicap friendly.

We are a one minute walk to the beach, three pools, and five restaurants. We are a five minute walk to more amazing restaurants, stores, and nightlife. Nearly all Jaco is within walking distance or only a short taxi ride away.

Our housekeeper Raquel will serve breakfast each day and also clean for you daily. Raquel speaks perfect English and Spanish. She can also help arrange airport pick up, tours and excursions, chef services for lunches and dinners, and lists of things to do in Costa Rica.

Nothing beats having breakfast at home before heading out to your adventures. Your 1st day starter breakfast is fully comped by us! Each additional breakfast will be prepared by Raquel. You only have to provide the groceries. The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies, spices, and dry goods. Raquel can do grocery shopping upon request as well.

We will help you plan and customize your vacation: airport shuttles, rental cars, tours, taxis, amazing places and when to go to them. Our goal is to make it so you only have to worry about flights and enjoying the best vacation you have ever had!

This condo is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. The balcony is huge and has ample seating to enjoy the gorgeous scenery and hear the ocean. Raquel’s breakfasts were amazing and she was so kind and helpful!

Amazing Condo

We stayed here with our family and friends. We also had a nanny and there was ample room. The condo is BEAUTIFUL, clean, and neighbors were quiet. The view of the ocean is serene and the beds were comfortable. Thanks so much!

Better than expected. Great!

Our host was very prompt answering questions and making adjustments to our stay. The day to day property manager arranged all of our excursions and transportation to and from including the airport. We felt very safe and trusting with our arrangements. Compared to the excursions and activities offered downtown and by random taxi drivers. We used the Property’s preferred Chef Sharlton and he was great. Lots of food left over for lunch the next day for about the price of eating out. Great for a family of eight.

Perfect Vacation In Jaco

There were only six of us but this Condo would have been spacious for 10+. Very clean and comfortable, excellent location on the beach and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants in Jaco. Centrally located for local attractions at Los Suenos and Manuel Antonio National Park. Raquel was amazing, excellent breakfasts of local flavor and a great resource for coordinating activities. Thank you so much for your hospitallity!

50th Anniversary

It was Great. All went better than we could ask for and a lot was due to having Raquel there helping. She was wonderful in every way. The tours the town and the beach were fun and beautiful.

Exceeded our expectations

This property is beautiful and had everything we needed and more. It’s spacious yet homey. Raquel was so accommodating and went the extra mile for us everyday. She made our stay that much better. I highly recommend this property. The location is on the beach and you have access to the resort amenities right next door. It’s within walking distance of some local restaurants that were delicious.

Perfection!!

This is a beautiful condo! Right on the beach with a beautiful view!!! Absolutely perfect in every way. We loved our stay and Raquel was friendly and wonderful. She was attentive to all of our needs We had a great breakfast the first morning. They have everything that you would want from all kitchen utensils to beach items! I would highly recommend ❤️

My family and I had the most fabulous time at the Palms. Raquel took care of all our questions and needs. Every adventure she planned for us was perfect. We spent two mornings at the adventure park, zip line, horseback riding, buggy ride through the jungle to the waterfalls. Surfing lessons and more.

Great week getaway, 5 couples!

Great location, about 75 minutes from SJO. Penthouse oceanfront! Very clean, very nice, GREAT deck over looking bay! Having access to Crocs pools was nice. Also local nearby food (Manglers, De China, and many in town). Lots of fun things to do: Costa Cat to Tortuga, Go Wild Adventures Waterfall hike, deep sea fishing and Manual Antonio National Park. We did not rent a car. Shuttles and taxis were fine. Raquel was AWESOME to help while there but also arranging the adventures. HIGHLY recommend!!

amazing condo

We really enjoyed our stay in the condo it is well appointed and very comfortable. The deck area and views never got old after 3 weeks. Raqual is such a bonus with making breakfast and local knowledge of places to visit , things to see and do plus she helped set them up. Jason, we tried to get her to come home with us or at least come on our next vacation she said she loves it there and won't come. Thanks for everything.

Family time

The property and location are great, and Raquel made things work very efficiently. Highly recommended (one suggestion is master shower tile floor is dangerously slippery and needs a mat and/ or a grab bar- same for front entry when feet are wet or water is on floor)

Best Family Trip EVER

Our family of 9 were exceedingly pleased with The Palms 801 experience. Much better than expected! The apartment is very spacious, well appointed, beautifully decorated and newly renovated kitchen, and beautiful views of Jaco beach and ocean. Aaccess to Croc’s pools next door was special treat, much enjoyed by two grandsons Raquel was a gem! She expertly introduced us to various excursions in area, restaurants, shops, sights, plus a chef who prepared dinner for us one night. Having her breakfasts and available for cleaning and answering questions every day made a huge difference for our first trip to Costa Rica. We are now spoiled and want her with us on every family vacation!

Great condo and hosts!

Our family of 11 spent a week at this condo on Jaco beach. Everything was fantastic. There was excellent communication with the property manager from the very beginning. Racquel was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us around the place and provided information on tours / restaurants in the area. Racquel was fantastic, cooking breakfast for us most mornings and providing housekeeping. The condo is great, exactly as described. The views from the balcony are amazing, The kitchen was well stocked, toiletries and laundry soap provided. Plenty of towels and beach equipment. The location is perfect, on a quieter section of the beach, several restaurants within easy walking distance. The main section of Jaco is nearby (could walk if desired) with many restaurants and a nice grocery. Perfect stay!

Perfect Stay with Exceptional Service and Prime Location

Our stay at this property was amazing! We were a group of eight, ranging in age from 18 to 80, and it suited everyone beautifully.Rachel, the manager, is truly exceptional. She was a fantastic resource, offering excellent recommendations for things to do in the area and places to shop for groceries. Since we enjoy cooking together, her tips on where to find fresh fruits and vegetables were particularly helpful.One breakfast, cooked by Rachel, was included with the condo, a real treat. She prepared a traditional Costa Rican meal featuring rice, beans, eggs, and guava jelly—something none of us had tried before. It was absolutely delicious!We loved having access to the Crocs pool, which became our go-to spot after daily outings. Our group spent hours playing basketball, volleyball, and HORSE in the pool—it was so much fun!We explored several local restaurants, and while some were hits and others misses, every outing was a memorable experience. After a tour of Manuel Antonio Park (arranged by Rachel), she suggested we try Avion Restaurant. It was perfect—everyone had a fantastic meal, and it was a welcome break after a hot jungle walk.The condo itself is top-notch, with a recent remodel that showcases the owners’ excellent taste. I really enjoyed the live plants on the balcony and house, which added a lovely touch.Overall, this property exceeded our expectations in every way. From the thoughtful details to the outstanding service, it’s a place we’d highly recommend.

Best Balcony in Jaco - Bella Vista

My wife and I had stayed in this area in the past but the place this time was an great and unique experience all in itself. We were very impressed with everything about this condo. There was plenty of room for everyone to hang together and everyone had space to for privacy if needed. An all around great experience!! The ONLY thing missing if I had to pick something would have been to have a grill of some sort on the balcony…. However it’s possible the condo management may not allow it … So we cooked the food inside and brought it out there to eat it… We were very happy and look forward to staying there again someday. I know I already mentioned this but it is worth saying again… We absolutely could not get enough of the views & sunsets from that beautiful balcony …!!!

Beautiful Luxurios Condo with Breathtaking views!

We stayed in 801 on July 2-9 2016. Talk about being spoiled. Condo is huge, we had 2 adults and 4 children (ages 8-12). Kids all had there own beds! Every morning Graciela prepared our breakfast. Wow, this is a feast..eggs, potatoes, rice & beans, bacon, bread, fresh fruit & Costa Rican coffee. We tried different adventures, like Zip Lining through the Rain Forest, which was an amazing experience. We went fishing one day, and she came over that night to cook our catch for us. Graciela cleaned the condo everyday, it was spotless. On Fourth of July, we had the best seats on the beach. Our balcony was eye level to the Croc's fireworks, they do a Spectacular Show! Croc's was awesome, the kids lived in the resort pool, having food and drinks poolside was great! Sunsets are unforgettable from the Balcony over looking the Beach! We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to all of our Friends and Family! Brandy, Richard and Kids!

As lovely as it looks in the pictures

Raquel was very helpful with finding things to do in the area and even answered my late messages when I accidentally locked our items in the safe without changing the unlock code. She helped us find a jet ski rental, ordered a cheesecake for my son's birthday and arranged for a shuttle ride for us back to the airport. She also made us a wonderful breakfast and would wash the dishes on her daily visits to us. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed, even though some of the bathroom layouts were a little odd. I would suggest looking at the room layouts before arriving to assign rooms before you get there especially if you are staying with more than one family since some of them have more private bathroom accommodations than others. There were many items available for us to use including fishing poles, body boards, sand toys and beach chairs, and a canopy and umbrellas for the beach. It was nice to use the pool at Crocs in the evening and the sunsets from the balcony were stunning. The far north end of Jaco Beach where the Palms is located is the nicest part of the beach - cleaner than in other areas and it was never crowded there. The ocean was warm and the waves were fun to jump in especially when the tide came in in the evenings. We had a rental car that was secure in the Palms' gated lot, but could easily and safely walk to a few nearby restaurants. For some of the farther restaurants I would recommend a cab, especially at night if you don't have a car. I would definitely stay here again and would encourage anyone else looking for a place to stay in Jaco to stay here as well, you will not be disappointed!

Beyond Expectations!

Our family booked the Palms in 2020, and couldn’t go ;( we were thrilled to have it available for our trip this year. we have never stayed in a place so beautiful, so well stocked…. if we thought we needed it, it was there, from the kitchen to the beach. We needed 5 bedrooms for our adult children and their spouses, each had their own room, privacy galore ! and spacious patio, dining and living rooms. as if wasn't enough, Raquel attended to all our needs, our questions, many many recommendations and booking help! she also came in to clean so we could enjoy Costa Rica. she made our breakfast one morning which was one of our best meals! I cannot say enough, book now to enjoy this beautiful country.

There is something magical about waking up and hearing the ocean waves. Palms 801 has a special energy about it that is hard to explain, but nearly everyone who has ever stayed there says the same.
