Only 6 minutes to the ark and a short walk to downtown restaurants on a nice evening. Come bring your large group!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home is beautiful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The kids especially loved the games, and we enjoyed spending time together around the large dining table. The selection of board games was a great bonus and made for some memorable family evenings. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway.

Our Women's group enjoyed our stay! Great location for visiting the Ark Encounter. The house was very spacious, comfortable beds and close to the downtown area.I would highly recommend this property!

This property is conveniently located just a few miles from the Ark. it’s also a short distance to Main Street shopping and dining in Williamstown. I highly suggest the burger joint. The house is nice; structurally old and creaky, but cosmetically updated. We were surprised with a snowstorm the couple of days we were there. The heat downstairs kept up nicely for our crowd of 13, mostly early 20s. Most bedrooms are upstairs and would not recommend for older folks. Worked great for us. No complaints.
The large picnic style table was great for our group.

Great location!

The property was so clean and close for our trip to the Ark encounter! Amenities were provided and the quality of everything was great! Very easy to communicate with the host and he made sure we were enjoying our stay. Definitely would recommend.

We had an awesome time at this property. Our stay was a bucket list item for my 85 years young MIL to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This property was perfect in every way. Plenty of beds, loved the big dining table (great for family games every night) house was well stocked and a great location. My husband and I are looking forward to booking this property next year when we take our kids and grandkids to the Ark and creation museum.

Great stay!!

Overall the property was very nice. It was fully equipped with everything you needed. The only issue we had was the hot water upstairs didnt stay hot very long at all. After one or two showers the next person didnt have any hot water. Other than that the property was nic!

Jakensa, Thank you for your review, and I'm glad you enjoyed the property! I wish you had let me know the issue with the hot water while you were staying, as I would have addressed it immediately - I've raised the temperature of the hot water heater to provide much more hot water for the property. I've also installed the largest gas heater on the market so hopefully no one else has that issue.

Family Ark excursion

The home was a great location for visiting the Ark. only a 6 minute drive. However, the Creation Museum was about 45 minutes away. The home is old but full of character. Plenty of room for the 12 of us. Could’ve used some extra blankets for sleeping. It was a cold, rainy weekend, so it was chilly inside. Our host, Peter, was very responsive to our questions and gave thorough instructions for our stay.

The house was excellent but some of the amenities need repair or improvements.The door upstairs cant close properly, the shower upstairs water is not warm ( hot) enough to take a good shower. There is not windows curtain on the front door and it pretty scary at night because im sure people dont want orthers see them inside the house at night. The grill gas tank was empty so if we decide to use it, we couldn't anyways. And the drive way( park area) need to be improve too.

Hi Isabelle, I'm glad you enjoyed the house! I could have helped on any of those problems if you had just communicated with me! The upstairs bathroom is having a full renovation, the door is able to close, there is a spare propane tank always available, the driveway is paved and fully usable, and I will be installing a curtain on the front door.

Nice property with a convenient location

We had a family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) traveling for a visit to the Ark Encounter. Only 6 minutes away from the Ark and conveniently located so you can even walk down the street to the little town for pizza and ice cream. The house is older but has charm and some nice updating has been done. The house was completely stocked for our needs whether it was bedding, towels or the kitchen for cooking. The upstairs is incredibly spacious with plenty of space to accommodate larger families. This is in addition to the bedrooms downstairs. We found ourselves sitting on the front porch most nights watching the cars go by as we talked the night away. The host is very attentive and available if needed. Would definitely recommend if you have a larger family and need the space.

Fantastic Stay for Our Group!We recently had the pleasure of staying at this vacation rental with a group of 17 in our family and it exceeded all our expectations!The house was spacious enough to allow everyone to have their own space. We loved gathering around the extra long dining table for meals and conversations. The layout was perfect for our large group.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals.The location was ideal, with easy access to The Ark Encounter (approximately 8 minutes) and so close to the downtown shops. Unfortunately, they were closed on Sundays as we wanted to visit the shops during our stay. The ambiance and food in the recommended Mexican restaurant was great.Our VBRO host was attentive and provided us with all the information we needed, making the check-in and check out process seamless. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.The game room was a highlight. It was chilly since we’re Floridians and not used to being cold and would have loved to chill out at the outdoor space.Overall, we highly recommend this VBRO for large groups! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Place is just amazing. We had 6 adults and 9 children staying for 4 days. Accommodations were more than adequate. Very clean and well laid out. Owner was very responsive to any communication sent - usually replying within minutes. Had one minor repair issue come up and got a very prompt response fixing the issue.
