It was a great experience, tailored to someone wanting a cozy rural stay.

The cabin is very nice sized, it does not feel stuffy at all. There are plenty of areas for people to hang out. The Laurelville town is barely 5 minutes away and has great food options. The hiking trails have a nice range of difficulties so anyone can find a great grove. This is our second year in a row staying in these cabins, and will recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the Hocking Hills area.

The Hitchin' Post was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Hocking Hills!

My family and I stayed at the Hitchin' Post during a face melting heatwave. The cabin stayed cool/cold the entire time. It was located near all of the parks and also had a lovely pond on the premises. It also provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

It was absolutely perfect! Would definitely recommend.

It was very clean. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I feel like any and everything was thought of in the cabin. It was in the little things that made our stay so nice. We were able to walk to the pond to fish and the cabin wasn’t far from attractions. Our stay was relaxing and we will definitely stay again.

Amazing!

The Cabin was wonderful! There was not one thing I went looking for that I didn't find. It felt like home. I could have stayed forever! The trails we're well maintained and the pond was beautiful and we actually caught some fish! The Hot Tub was exactly what we needed after a day on the trails, and ending the night by the campfire was so relaxing! Thanks Phil for a wonderful getaway. We can't wait till our next trip.

This will always be our go to place.

First of all, the staff is great! They will make sure your stay is perfect. Last year was our first time staying in one of there cabins. It was our honeymoon. Specialized towels on the bed and couch made into swans. This year we booked for our anniversary. Without saying anything to the staff. They remembered that it was our anniversary again. Swan's and a anniversary card. Great place to go. Cabins our so clean when you walk in. You can eat off the floor.

We love it so much we go back every year!

The cabin is beautiful. It is so peaceful there. We love to take trips down thru the woods to the pond. It is close to the hiking areas. It is the perfect place to just get away from everything. Laurelville is nice and close and has some nice restaurants and a good grocery store.
