Absolutely wonderful stay at this secluded, peaceful cabin. We hiked every day, enjoyed the scenery from the deck, and frequented the shops in Cloudcroft. Everything was exceptionally clean. We look forward to coming back. Driveway is steep. AWD/4WD recommended!

Wonderful, quiet, and picturesque escape from the big city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The owners were so easy to interact with, and were within reach at any given moment. This cabin is beautifully nestled into the woods and has everything you didn’t know you forgot/needed. The owners have thought of everything, this is by far the best cabin we have ever rented…we would love to stay again! Thanks for making our vacation such a pleasant experience!

Thank you, Kristy for that great review. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay here and we look forward to having you back. Thank you for leaving the cabinet in such a great condition. God bless.
Very nice secluded house in a wooded area with beautiful views. Patio furniture was very nice along with propane grill. Only downside is slow internet. It is via geostationary Hugesnet with very slow speed like 1-2 Mbs and high latency of 800 ms. Difficult to do any work, forget streaming. Please get Starlink! Definitely 5 stars if they can fix the internet.

Thank you Amit for the review. We are glad you enjoyed our cabin. The cabin is secluded and it is unfortunate you had slow internet. We intended the cabin to be a place of solitude and quiet. We don't recommend it for computer work due to its seclusion. Again thank you for your review and we hope you return, but I will look into Starlink internet service.
My husband and I got married in Cloudcroft 29 years ago today. We come back with our family, every year, to celebrate our anniversary. Out of all the cabins we’ve stayed in through the years, this one is my favorite. The location is perfect. It has the most beautiful wraparound balcony. The views are stunning and it is very quiet (no loud ATVs) and secluded. We saw only one vehicle in 4 days. All you see all around you is forest, gorgeous sunsets, and stars. It was especially nice at night as Tom and Terri provide, not one, but three outdoor heat lamps and two fire pits. The furniture was well kept and comfortable. The cabin has a huge fireplace, a good internet connection, a fantastic home gym, games, and a well appointed kitchen with everything you need to make memorable meals. During our hikes, we saw elk, deer, and a whole flock of wild turkeys. We made many wonderful memories and look forward to coming back next year. Thank you, Tom and Terri, for thinking of everything, being so attentive, and sharing your cabin with our family.

We hope you can create those memories for your future anniversaries at our cabin. God bless you and your family and thank you again for being our guest.
This is a great cabin with phenomenal views and amenities. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. It was impeccably clean and well appointed. The driveway is steep, long, and gravel so make sure you have at least an AWD vehicle. This was a great place to stay near Cloudcroft.

About the host
Hosted by Thomas
The hosts are both native New Mexicans. We love the outdoors and the solitude of being in nature.
Why they chose this property
This cabin was designed so that the views of the natural surroundings can be viewed from anywhere in the house. Even though our guests will be inside the comfort of the cabin, they will feel as though they are standing outside.
What makes this property unique
This cabin was designed so that our guests will enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings. Every window has a view. Guests will be able to enjoy the grazing elk deer and wild turkey that many times can be viewed right outside the kitchen window or off of the balcony. Since it is secluded, usually the only sounds that interrupt the quiet is the sounds of nature.
