The property was great for my sisters and our families, which included 7 small children. Communication was never a problem. We cooked every night with the fully stocked kitchen and enjoyed the included lake/pool membership while there. We would definitely stay again.

Be aware before climbing the stairs. I've waited for a few months to leave a review as I thought the host would make it right but they have done anything but. Upon move in the front stairs collapsed with two grown men one being over 60 falling on each other both being banged and bruised for a couple of weeks. After several calls and email with vrbo no resolution in form of refund was reached and it was decided that the host did the right thing by assisting in finding alternate housing and transferring our payments to new host. After further review of the property it was found that several of the neighboring properties were in need of severe repair as well to secure their front steps. I would have expected better from vrbo and the host to offer some sort of monetary refund offered for our inconvenience.

While I am not surprised to see your negative review, it is definitely disappointing. We live in a world where there just can't be a freak situation without someone needing to be financially compensated. You KNOW I went above and beyond to save your family vacation. I found you a larger and more expensive home within 10 minutes of this terrible situation.... drove you to the house and had the cleaning team meet you there to ensure you had everything. It wasn't the owner's fault, the home had just been given U&O certificate the month prior. It was a terrible accident to which we felt awful! He and I both reached out to again once moved to the new home to ensure everything was ok. We are disappointed at the harsh rating but happy your family of 10 was able to continue on with your 4night july vacation together! All the best

The house was clean, host was easy to reach when we had a very minor question, small(exactly as it was in the picture) but well stocked with necessary kitchen pans, silverware, etc.
