Located less than a 5 min. drive from Hook Head, the oldest operating lighthouse in the world, a stone’s throw from Slade Harbour & in sight of Loftus Hall. Surrounded by the fertile farmland of Wexford this charming 3 bedroom home is ideal for friends or families to enjoy the beaches, coastal walks, history and culture of the Southeast. A 20 min. drive will take you to Ballyhack car ferry to explore Co. Waterford and beyond. Enjoy family/friend time in this open plan, kitchen, dining, and living area with French doors to the patio and garden. The ground floor also has a full bathroom and two bedrooms, one with queen bed, the other with twin bunkbeds. Upstairs is the main bedroom with queen bed, en suite bathroom, ample storage and a desk for your convenience. In addition to the main bedroom, is a second living room with panoramic views from Hook Head, to Dunmore East across the estuary and Loftus Hall. Outside, enjoy the fully enclosed garden from sunrise to sunset, breakfast or a glass of wine on the comfortable patio set. The garages are private, but please feel free to store bikes, kayaks, etc., under the leanto. Find relaxation and tranquillity at the tip of the Southeast!

I grew up in New Ross and have lived in many locations since but I’m always drawn back to the area.

Why they chose this property

Hook Head holds a special place in my heart and now in the hearts of my children. It is where I spent many hours exploring as a child on Sunday afternoon family outings. Getting an ice cream cone in Campile and trying to make it last all the way to the lighthouse!
