All the Comforts of Home Salem 3 br/2ba Family Neighborhood - 5 Min to Downtown
Open Living Space with Living Room, Dining Room & Kitchen. Brand New Carpet, Brand New Bathroom OUR LATEST REVIEW SAYS IT ALL...
“The Keizer House was such a comfortable place to relax when we weren't busy with graduation activities. It really had everything that we needed to make this feel like home away from home. There were more than ample linens so that we didn't need to do laundry to keep everyone stocked in fresh towels. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. All the instructions we needed for our stay, like how to use the entertainment center, coffee pots, etc. were easily accessible and thorough. But the owner was also available and responded quickly when contacted. The kitchen in this home had some extras that aren't always found in rentals-- In addition, every kind of utensil and cookware that we needed was there. Keizer House is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Our stay in May meant getting to see many beautiful flowers around the neighborhood that were in full bloom-- we don't see that at home so it was a treat! And one of the best, and most relaxing parts of our stay was having breakfast outside every morning-- the weather was perfect for it and the backyard is a very beautiful place to relax. Check-in and check-out were both very easy-- everything was straightforward and there aren't a lot of tedious routines like some rentals have. It made the process so much less stressful than some other rentals I have used in the past. It was a quick trip and we had a lot going on so we didn't get to see many of the sights around the area-- but there is a lot to do so this would be a great vacation spot for families!”

“Wonderful Keizer Home ” Everything about this vacation rental was great. The homeowner was always available, made the transaction easy and painless, security deposit was returned quickly. The home itself is very comfortable. Great kitchen with brand new stove! Also, I have to mention that allot rental homes I have staid in before had a very limited pantry. But this rental, when they say 'fully stocked kitchen' they mean 'fully stocked kitchen!' They had everything we needed when preparing our meals. Also bedrooms were great, very comfortable beds. Also, great neighborhood. Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.
We had a wedding in Salem and this rental served us really well. We enjoyed the washer & dryer as it rained and we got soaked. We went to Silver Falls event hough it rained, it was beautiful. Thank you for giving us a great place with great beds and amenities.
Thank you for a very comfortable stay at the Summer Breeze house. Our family consists of 7 adults and 1 child. We had plenty of space not to mention enough hot water for all showers. The washer & dryer were great as we stayed two weeks. We appreciated the location of the house- made it easy for family to find us. We loved having access to all football games and children programming on the cvs. we highly recommend this place.

Cozy and Comfortable
The home is very comfortable, convenient location and stocked with everything you need. We will definitely stay at this property the next time we are in the area.
Enjoyed our stay very much…the space was immaculately clean and had all the necessary things you can think of ..nice family neighborhood
Felt very safe. Host always answers back very quickly and is helpful. Will stay again 😊
Only downfall is property manager wants a lot communication that is not necessary and a bit pushy with texts. Property is clean and lots of notes to tell you how to stay there.

When I didn't get a txt that the guests arrives at the house, I txtd. The person who rented the house may not have been staying at the house. By the 2nd day, I hadn't heard from anyone, sent text again. Finally got a response. Then I asked them a favor about getting into the garage but after not hearing from them, I changed my plans. Then I txted them check out info., Thats it. They were there for 9 days, so I do not think it was too much txting. They took down my signs about not wearing shoes in the back of the house. They were ok guests but they did not want to communicate. 6 homes over 10 years, I'm not sure I've ever run across anyone that didn't want to communicate.

Lovely home in Quiet Neighborhood
The home was very neat and clean. It had all the amenities our family needed and was close to the venue for our daughters wedding. The only issue that popped up was for 2 of our family members who are allergic to cats. While there was not evidence of cats, those who were allergic could certainly tell.

We have owned that house for nine years and there's never been a cat. So I'm really not sure what this is about. I've had over 200 groups in this house and nobody has ever mention this. I can only assume that the smoke covering the valley affected sensitive people who might otherwise be affected by cats

Overall house was in fair shape. Yard needed weeded especially the back.
Kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. Shower in master suite would not work and we were unable to use it. Beds were comfortable and having shampoo and all the other amenities were a nice touch and much appreciated. Should have paid more attention to the fact we couldn't use the garage but, the area seemed really safe. Would stay there again in the future. Thank you.
Sincerely,

I'm sorry you did not have a perfect experience at the house....we will be putting in new lawn for next year but priorities were air conditioning, new stove, new king bed, new flatscreen in master....new refrigerator coming soon. You never called and said anything about the bathroom...what was wrong with the bathroom...We have an immediate response to any calls...was it the drain? Someone just called and we were there within hours to fix it... It is important to talk with your hosts so they have the opportunity to fix whatever is needed... We respond immediately to all needs of our guests... please read on to see the rest of the reviews..

cozy home/ intrusive owner
It was fine for what we where using it for. The beds where super comfy we had some issues with the plumbing and cleanliness(quite a bit of mold on the shower curtin). The other reason that made me rate it a 3, was the home owner was a little intrusive.. they asked for us to text when we arrived. so I text early on our arrival date to let them know we where traveling in and most likely would not get in until 2am. I told them I would be happy to text but wanted to give them the option, They seemed upset "WHY, Is it the weather? I didnt feel as though it was their business, but gave our reason anyway... Then they text me the day before we where to check out, to say they saw that we arrived and asked if everything was ok, and would we let them know when we planned on checking out house keeping wated to know they had others arriving after us? I did let them know about the plumbing problem we had and was told I am going to have to fix That. I also told them our plans to check out at 10am response to that was "could you text me and let me know when you leave"
our check out time was for 11, but they where so worried about the people coming in behind us and how housekeeping wanted to know when we where leaving that they wanted us to text so they would know when we where leaving. We just decided to leave at 8 am rather then wait(sent the text as requested)...
We only used the bedrooms living room dinning room and fridge, no cooking or appliance use, so clean up was not going to be a problem.. It just felt like we where having them watch our every move or had to give an account of where we would be or when we are leaving? (how about at check out?) that was just to intrusive for me...
also after we recieved our ok to rent and the how to get in the house we recieved the house contrct with step by step on how to use the appliances and NOT BREAK THEM I was a little worried to use anything. I realize that breakage could be an issue but sometimes that happens with normal wear and tear, just saying.. I have never had this kind of intrusive stay with VBRO/ Homeaway. just too much in my business kinda creepy.
It was a comfortable home, close to what we needed. so with that and lack of rentals in the areas I would consider booking again, but it would NOT be on the top of my list. I will look someplace else First...

Wow... I have never had a bad review. The area had just had a very bad snow fall, which is why I asked if the weather had them delayed. It didn't really matter. I actually thought I was being nice. We always ask for guests to check in and check out by txt. Its the mother in me but I want to make sure they are in and all is fine. Leaving was not an issue at all. They told me when they left that the toilet in the master had difficulty flushing. I said I would fix it, letting them know. If it was an issue, I would have had housekeeping come over. All it needed was a good plunging...sitting right in the bathroom..Sometimes guests leave early and I like to know in advance. Never had a problem with people checking out.. We never mentioned breaking anything. We do have a new stove top and have some rules (in renters guide) to help guests. Like don't put anything on stove top while it is on. Don't scrape with a knife. Use the cleaner in the cupboard made specifically for glass stove tops. As I said, we have never had a complaint. We make sure everything is perfect. We have new mattresses, new bedding, new towels, a new dishwasher, a new stove, new fridge, new grass in the backyard. All the amenities including a washer & dryer, soap & shampoo, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, lots of pillows, throws, coffee/creamer/teas, spices. I have no idea what made these guests upset. They never mentioned it to once. Once in awhile (every few months) the inner liner of the shower does get moldy - I think it happens to everyone. Had they contacted me, I would have had housekeeping go over and replace it immediately. Please read all the reviews before making your decision. I'm also pretty sure no one has ever broken anything, other than a cup, at this house. Never had problems or issues. I pride myself on making sure everyone has a perfect stay at the house. I'm really surprised this group was put off by my concern. Texting is not always conducive to communication. I do feel bad that they misinterpreted my intentions and ddin't feel at home in our house.
My sister and I grew up in Keizer just blocks from this property. It was such a treat to stay here! The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Wonderful area for walking, just a very short distance from Keizer Rapids Park. The house itself was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed and then some. We appreciated the well stocked coffee and the snacks upon our arrival. Check in was very easy and our host was great. Quick and responsive communication. Would definitely stay here again.
Keizer home is a lovely, cozy house with plenty of space for a small family to be comfortable. We stayed in Debbie’s home while our house was being remodeled and everything was clean, fresh and ready to go in the Keizer home. There are plenty of amenities within a five minutes drive including a grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants. Communication with Debbie was easy, quick and clear. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet as stated in the ad. We would recommend this home for short and long term stays.
Debbie’s property was perfect for our vacation in the Willamette Valley. It was a central location to visit each area as planned by our son. Since temps were hitting 100 on Saturday and Sunday, the AC was very important. The kitchen was stocked with all items needed. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet.
he property is very well maintained, super clean, and has everything needed to make for a great stay. Debbie was quick to respond to questions -- always important to have good communications!
This property has all the amenities one could wish for to make you feel at home. The property manager (Debbie) was very prompt and responsive with any questions and was a pleasure to deal with. Great central location, nice safe neighborhood and seamless check in. and out process. I would 100% stay here again if it's available when travels take me to the area. Thanks so much!
This property had plenty of space for our family visit to the Salem area. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat most meals at the house. The backyard is large and having a grill is a plus. Nice quiet neighborhood, we will definitely be back next time we head to the Salem area.
The home was very clean and the manager was nice and responsive. The house is well equipped, both furniture and the kitchen. It is a short drive to the grocery store and lots of other stores, and probably a 4-5 minute drive to both I-5 and downtown Salem. There is a nice little fenced backyard area if you have kids.
We are here from Florida visiting family who live in the neighborhood. Very convenient. Property as pictured and very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
Nice and relaxing with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The neighborhood was absolutely quiet and we could not have asked for anything more. We were so very happy we found this comfortable home. Appreciate the excellent communication as well.

Why they chose this property
This is a very comfortable home and available for a very inexpensive price. Why stay at a hotel when this home will accommodate your family and allow a much nicer setting for any family gathering.
