Located in Ulster County, we are approximately 2 hour drive from New York City, 30 minutes from Saugerties and 15 minutes to Kingston.
Local Attractions:
The Shawangunk Mountains (also known as ‘The Gunks’), considered one of the premier rock climbing and hiking areas in North America is 20 minutes away by car. Also a short drive away is Escopus Creek, well known for its wild trout fishing and kayaking.
Rosendale main street and historic Kingston is just 5-10 minutes away and boasts several restaurants, bakeries, wine bars, and a local movie theater.
The D&H Canal Historical Society is open to the public and provides a detailed history of the town and lock houses
