The home is perfect for a busy traveler who seeks peace and calm in midst the hassle and bustle of an exciting neighborhood. Beautifully furnished, fully equipped and renovated, with high speed internet/WiFi throughout you will find plenty of lounge areas to relax or work - from a spacious gorgeous roof top deck overlooking Venice and Marina Del Rey to a cozy garden outdoor lounge space or the elegant interior living areas. At night, enjoy a cozy dinner or glass of wine Al Fresco with friends or business partners, or just hop over to Abbot Kinney and check the hip stores, bars and art galleries. During the day, the possibilities are endless: stroll to the beach in just 10 minutes, enjoy shopping in near by Santa Monica or Malibu, hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, bicycling along the famous beach bike path, surfing, boating, yoga, tennis and nearby spa facilities, and the many other colorful facets of legendary Venice, California.
Additional 3RD BEDROOM/BATH available. Has to be pre-arranged with owner.

We absolutely love Rosemary's beautiful house. It's perfectly situated to everything super close to the beach. The street has plenty of parking and it's a nice wide street that's pretty quiet. If you have kids, there's a little playground behind the house. You can access very easily and it definitely keeps them entertained. The house itself is beautifully done. Well maintained. Had everything we needed, check-in was a breeze, and communicated throughout was easy. We are so sad to leave this beautiful home, especially the gorgeous rooftop. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is a find!

Lovely freestanding home as you can see from the pictures. Comfortable, good location and responsive owner. Street parking readily available, easy access to freeways, close to Abbott Kinney and about a mile from the beach. Best of all are the outside spaces: beautiful and private front yard with furniture along with a lovely rooftop deck. This place is a find!

Very quiet and safe neighborhood. 15 min walk to beach. 10 to Abbott Kinney. Other things that matter….great beds, great showers, great closet space, great WiFi, great sunshine in house and garden and roof, great hosts. 10/10 would go again.

Fabulous Venice Vacation Home

We had a terrific stay at Rosemarie and Birgit’s property. The house is as described. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. Hosts were always kind and responsive. Property is close to the beach, Abbot Kinney and restaurants. We especially liked the proximity to the Martin Braude Bike Trail. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location

This is a well-equipped/maintained and charming property on a quiet street in a fantastic location. The area offers terrific walkability with easy access to Marina del Rey, Venice Beach, the picturesque Venice canals and the 'coolest street in the US", Abbott Kinney Blvd with its fabulous restaurant scene. A 5-star experience all around.

Pure Perfection

As this was our second stay at this wonderful property, we knew how perfect our stay would be. As soon as you walk through the gate and into the beautiful courtyard you begin to relax. The neighborhood is great for walking and exploring the great restaurants and shops on Abbott Kinney. After exploring all day, it’s nice to return to your home away from home and go up to the 3rd floor deck to enjoy a glass of wine, the sunset and begin planning your next day’s adventures.

Peacefully quiet stay in LA

Needed a quiet place to unwind, relax and enjoy the privacy, this property not only fit the bill it has exceeded expectations and we forgot how to “wind” in order to “unwind”. Rosemarie is a spectacular host as is her assistant. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Oasis

We stayed for 6 weeks and were sad to leave. This is a beautiful property where every detail has been thought through. The garden and top-side deck were favorite spots for us. The location is great, easily walkable to the beach, Abbot Kinney and the marina. We are looking forward to our stay at this property next year. Thank you, Rosemarie!

Quiet, Beautiful Retreat in Venice Beach

The house is beautiful, comfortable and very quiet despite beings within easy walking distance of the heart of Venice Beach, the ocean and the charming Venice canals. The host is very welcoming, responsive and friendly. We especially loved sitting in the sun on the large and well-furnished roof deck. The parking is extremely easy and the neighborhood very safe and clean with lovely houses. I can't wait to return!

Lovely Home on a Quiet Street

Rosemarie was the perfect host - very responsive, but not at all intrusive. The home is tucked away from busy Venice but still close enough to walk to markets, shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Venice Beach and Canals are an easy 15 minute walk away. The outdoor space (front garden and roof deck) are lovely and we spent a lot of time there. The master bedroom is spacious and comfortable with a lot of light during the day. The large closets were great (and rare for a rental). The kitchen is adequately stocked for most cooking needs. My wife and I spent 5 weeks at the home and were very comfortable. Thank you Rosemarie.

Exceeded our expectations

We loved this house, the responsive owner and terrific location. We were able to walk to all the fun and convenient amenities in the area. Nicely decorated and well equipped for basic cooking needs. 2 farmers markets nearby too.

Perfect extended stay in Venice for the holidays.

We absolutely loved this house and this location. The house is incredibly comfortable, spacious and quiet and the location is safe and private. We had a great family Thanksgiving there with dessert up on the amazing rooftop deck. Rosemarie is very responsive and addressed any issues right away. I would highly recommend this to anyone and we are looking to coming back.

A wonderful stay in Venice

My husband, daughter and I loved staying in Venice in Rosemarie's house for a month. The house is as beautiful as the photos. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the beds are comfy and the garden and roof terrace are beautiful. The location is also fantastic. The house is on a quiet road 5 minutes walk from Abbot Kinney (10 minutes to the main coffee shops and restaurants). The walk to the beach is 15 minutes and you can walk through the canals. We walked to the beach nearly every day and it's a beautiful walk away from traffic. Rosemarie was a really wonderful host in every way and we look forward to staying again when we are back in LA. Thank you Rosemarie!

Beautiful house in convenient neighborhood

This is a lovely house with a wonderful garden and a fantastic roof deck. Beds are comfortable and we had everything we needed. Parking was easy. We were out of the hustle and bustle of Venice, but walking distance to coffee and other essentials. This was a super experience and we hope to come back!

Lovely home in the perfect location

My sister and I are two working professionals from Chicago that decided to leave the freezing Chicago weather behind and head west for sunshine and warmer weather. We stayed at Rosemarie's beautiful home for 2 1/2 months and absolutely loved it! First of all Rosemarie is the best host, so friendly and thoughtful, very responsive, and wants to makes sure you are enjoying your stay. Which we did very much! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an archway of beautiful blooming bougainvillea, which opens into an inviting and beautiful front garden and patio. It is a lovely well-appointed home with a European feel, great privacy with outdoor space in the front and back of the house and an AMAZING rooftop deck! The home was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the master bedroom is huge! The house looks as good as you think it does in the pictures. We also felt very safe, there are locked gates in the front and back of the house. We were both working remotely and internet speed was a priority, it worked great the whole time we were there. The location was PERFECT. First, the house is only 15 MINUTES from LAX! The home is located on a very nice, quiet street, with plenty of street parking. Everything is walkable - a 15 min walk to the beach, a 10 min walk to the fun and cool shops and restaurants on Abbott Kinney and many other great restaurants within a 10 minute walk on Washington Blvd. There were plenty of grocery stores within walking distance, Erewhon Market is the nicest grocery store I've ever been to and it's a 10 min walk, there is a Trader Joe's, Ralph's and Whole Foods all within a 25-30 min walk. It's a great area to get lost and check out all of the beautiful homes, amazing architecture and hidden gems of Venice (Venice canals). The area is very bikeable as well. We bought bikes and had so much fun riding around the neighborhood, on the boardwalk along the beach, to Santa Monica and there is a bike path, the Marvin Braude bike path, super close to the house. One additional bonus on the location, we did not have a car while we were there, so if we wanted to go away for a weekend, there is an Enterprise rent-a-car approx 10 min walk from the house on Washington/Lincoln, which was such a great amenity nearby so we didn't have to go to the airport every time we wanted to rent a car. I could go on and on about our wonderful winter getaway in Venice, Rosemarie's home was a gem and I hope to come back!

Perfect family home, beautifully decorated in a prime location

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property which had a second bedroom for our kids when they visited. The house is as beautiful as the pictures show and the outdoor space is phenomenal, especially when you're trying to be with people outside, socially distanced. The rooftop is spectacular! The location in Venice can't be beat. It's a 5 minute walk to Abbot Kinney (great shops and restaurants) and the Venice Canals, and a 15 minute walk to the beach. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this house as your home base when visiting LA!

From the moment you enter the front gate into the lush gardens of this wonderful Venice home you begin to relax. We loved that it was located on a quiet street and walkable to the beach as well as all the great restaurants on Abbot Kinney. Sunset cocktails and dinners on the beautiful outdoor deck made for a special stay.
