I love this Vrbo! The accommodations are comfortable, and it is an easy entrance to the private space. It’s very clean and has everything we needed for our stay. The hosts are very responsive and friendly!
Fantastic stay! Easy access via keypad, and the apartment looked just like the pictures. The area is very quiet with walkable places to eat and shop. Excellent host who was very responsive to any questions we had. Very comfortable bed. I would definitely stay again!!!

Very clean and convenient property, good communication from host. Very comfortable and nice neighborhood
It’s a great little basement apartment! Cute, clean and comfortable. Has all the necessities (except shower soap). The bed was a little bit firm for me, but that’s just my preference. Other guests mentioned the dogs. I heard them if anyone rang the doorbell, but from about 10:30 pm until 9am I didn’t hear them at all, so I got some good rest. Thanks for sharing your cute place with me!
The place was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept. We had good communication with the host and she was generous enough to let us check in a couple of hours early. She let us know in advance that her dogs would bark whenever the door was opened. We could not see them but did hear them walking around in the upstairs unit.

Lovely finished basement studio suite with a walkout door to backyard. Nice neighborhood. Plenty of parking spots, so no competing for a place and no worries about safety. Hosts placed filtered water in fridge and a welcome gift. Very thoughtful and kind. The bed was comfortable, and the house was quiet. I slept well and went about my business. Central location was perfect for canyon access and downtown visits. I look forward to returning.
Good: Nice, clean basement apartment, nice for a short stay in SLC. Lots of parking, safe neighborhood. Coffee, cream, and sugar provided.
Okay: Entrance is through the garage, and keypad is to the left of the garage door. It would have been helpful to state this clearly in the instructions. Heat is through a small space heater, which is ok for me, but could be a bit chilly if you're not used to it.
Bad: Dog runs around upstairs late at night, which sounds thunderous. No soap, shampoo, or conditioner, which would suck if you were not prepared for that.
I had a great stay this weekend. The apartment-style room was comfortable, well put together, and had everything I needed. It was nice and quiet, which made it easy to relax, and the location was perfect—close to everything I had going on.I know there are dogs on the property, and while I could hear them at times, it honestly didn’t bother me at all. If anything, it made it feel a little more like home.Overall, a really enjoyable stay. I’d definitely come back again!
All was lovely. Check in and communication of things you need to know were all great! Thank you!

About the host
Hosted by Eve Taylor-Rasmussen
My husband and I moved our family here Ogden and love being so much closer to SLC. We've hosted vacation rentals before and enjoyed it, so when we moved into this home that had rental space we jumped at the chance to create our own vacation rental. We have 2 dogs that live upstairs with us and they do bark at door knocks, but they're not all-day barkers.
Why they chose this property
It's a quiet and hidden neighborhood that's close to all the activities of SLC.
What makes this property unique
We wanted to make our basement space as warm and welcoming as possible .
