Our party of six loved this house! We stayed over the 4th of July and it was super hot so we appreciated the air conditioning and pool. Grandkids were in the pool every day. The renovation of the house was well done and we were very comfortable. Old house charm with modern updates. Glad there are two bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped and the host had things like grocery bags, umbrellas, and freezer packs available for borrowing. There is a nice little grocery less than a block away, and a liquor store, and dollar store too. Terrific Chinese food and pizza in the same area. We walked to the port imperial ferry several mornings and rode the ferry for sightseeing days in manhattan. We did not rent a car, but there is a garage and you can park on the street in front of the garage as well. If you walk a half block down the street there is a wide walkway above the bluff with a spectacular view of the west side of Manhattan. We watched the tall ship parade and aerial show from there on the 4th and fireworks that night. It was very fun!
