Nice and comfortable, cosmetically the restroom could use a little improvement but it’s nothing that would stop us from coming back again! Really appreciated all the snacks and drinks left by the host. They even left a surprise welcome gift for my daughter. Situated very close to gem mines which is what we went for. Everything was clean! Bedding was fresh, beds comfortable. Washer and dryer was a lifesaver after the mines. No list of a million chores upon leaving (whew) We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Great location for all the mining sites! The house is within 10-15 minutes of several crystal mines, and just a quick hour drive to Crater of Diamonds. We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the thoughtful hospitality! Oh, and the washer and dryer came in very handy after a long day of digging in the dirt!

The Nook could not have been more perfect for us. Easy to find. Quiet neighborhood. And the Nook itself was charming. They had everything we could possibly need -great snacks, comfy bed, very accommodating kitchen. And, Gunsmoke on the tv! The management was very responsive to our questions. We had a wonderful time and should we go back to Mt Ida, I would definitely go back to the Nook!

This house was great! Rented this place to go digging for crystals in the surrounding area. This house is 10 minutes away from a few different mines which is perfect so you don’t have to wake up too early or take too much time getting back home to relax after a hard day of digging. Everything was just as described, they even had little snacks out for us to enjoy while we were there which was awesome. Really quiet neighborhood and nice spot to stay, I can’t wait to come back! Less than 5minutes away from all the grocery stores and restaurants so if you need anything it’s basically right there. There was plenty of towels, the mattresses weee pretty soft. It was really nice to have a washing machine and dryer when getting super dirty during th day too. The only thing that happened was The digital lock stopped working the second day but the host got In touch with me pretty quickly and they had a physical spare key so thankfully they had a backup plan for when the digital lock breaks which made sure tvacation stayed in track. All in all a fantastic little place in Mt. Ida that everyone should consider if they are staying in the area. The place looks exactly like the pictures, a nice cute little getaway home.
