Hi, I'm Jackie from Michigan, where I work as a corporate controller for a small manufacturing firm. My husband, a scuba instructor and underwater photographer, introduced me to diving and the Caribbean lifestyle 24 years ago—and I’ve been hooked ever since!

We’ve explored reefs across the Caribbean, encountering everything from shrimp and crabs to sharks, dolphins and whales. Escaping Michigan’s snowy winters for the sun and sea is pure joy.

We always stay in VRBO properties, and this villa was our very first back in 1999. It’s a charming, tranquil retreat, and We're thrilled to share our little piece of paradise with you.

We didn’t exactly choose this villa—the previous owner chose us. Before we met, my husband and his dive buddies often stayed here for their dive trips. After we became a couple in the late '90s, he brought me to Grand Cayman, where we stayed in this villa and I experienced scuba diving for the first time.

Owning property here was always a dream, and it came true unexpectedly. The former owner reached out, ready to sell—and wanted us to have it because of their past connection. The timing was unfortunate, because we had just bought a villa in Roatan, Honduras six months earlier and weren’t planning another purchase, However, her persistence won us over. We’re now proud to share this special place with others seeking a peaceful Caribbean escape.

This villa offers a rare glimpse of the “old Caribbean”—a quiet, low-rise retreat tucked between the glamorous Ritz-Carlton and the Westin Hotel on the best stretch of Seven Mile Beach. Unlike the crowded resorts nearby, our beach is peaceful and rarely busy, perfect for relaxing on soft white sand or under the shade of Casuarina trees.

You’re steps from restaurants, bars, shops, and water activities, yet our three-story complex remains calm and uncrowded. I love reading by the shore while my husband reviews his photos from that mornings dive—it’s our slice of serenity.

The villa is fully equipped with a kitchen, washer/dryer, coffee maker, blender, spices, games, puzzles, and extra snorkel gear. For divers, local shops—like Red Sail next door—offer beach pickup and will even store your gear, making diving effortless.
