Eagle Cabin is one of five modern cabins at Orange Tractor Retreat, set on 40 peaceful acres above the Wisconsin River. It’s ideal if you like to get out early—the Wisconsin River trail is just steps away, making it easy to start your day with a walk, coffee in hand.

Designed with convenience and comfort in mind, Eagle offers bright interiors and easy indoor-outdoor living. Eagle sleeps four with a queen bed and bathroom on the main floor, plus two twin beds in the loft space. A main level queen sleeper sofa is available for up to two additional guests for an added fee. The cabin is fully equipped with quality linens and towels, a walk-in shower, stocked kitchen, coffee and tea, games, and a smart TV. Wi-Fi and a workspace make it easy to stay connected if needed.

Step onto your private patio complete with Adirondack chairs, a Solo Stove fire pit (with firewood), picnic table, and a gas grill that invites you to settle in and enjoy the peace. Sunrise coffee and evening wine both feel right at home here.

Dogs are welcome, with durable flooring, a comfortable dog bed, and on-site trails for daily walks.

After booking, we’ll share our curated guide to the area—favorite supper clubs, restaurants, hiking spots, and local gems—so you can enjoy both the energy of the Dells and the peaceful escape of Orange Tractor Retreat.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. You’re welcome to continue enjoying the cabin and outdoor spaces during this time—just with a lower volume and respect for the peaceful setting.

The property was impeccably maintained. Our senior, blind dog was able to easily navigate the house and loved the many trails around the property. The Orange Tractor Retreat is an amazing place, and we would stay again.

Everything was great! The only thing I would have wished I knew on the front end was how the stairs to the loft were definitely more like a ladder than steps. I do wish that would be called out in the main description of the property as it was not feasible for either couple staying there. Fortunately the pull out couch was a little more comfortable than most of them are. Outside of that, amazing.

That said, your experience is a helpful reminder that we can make this detail even more prominent so guests can determine ahead of time whether the loft access will work comfortably for everyone in their group. We’d love to welcome you back, and Deer may be an especially good fit for your next stay (we know it does get booked up in advance). We built the Orange Tractor Retreat for people who love the smell of pine, enjoy watching eagles, the quiet, calm interaction with nature and for those who love the fun and excitement of the central Wisconsin/Dells area. Our cabins were built to be the home base for all that you want to experience in the Dells. We've been personally involved in every aspect of Orange Tractor Retreat. Beginning with rescuing our namesake - a 1961 Allis Chalmers tractor left over on the property when we purchased it. We’ve rehabilitated the forest, marked the paths, decided on cabin placement based on the trees, designed and furnished the cabins… and everything in between. We have big plans for OTR, and we hope you’ll join us in our journey!

The home of our Eagle Cabin is a 40 acre old growth forest, appreciated for its lovely, fresh-scented pines, red and white oaks. We know that nature lovers, couples, families, remote workers (and their dogs!) will find what they need at Eagle. Stay inside and enjoy the expansive windows and sliding doors as you view the outside, cook and serve in the full size kitchen with island and then relax on the comfortable, pullout couch while you stay cozy with the gas fire place. Go outside and enjoy access to your own private patio with fire pit and gas grill and then head out to walk our trails and find yourself at the amazing Wisconsin River for the most beautiful sunset, during any season!

What makes this property unique

Our Eagle Cabin is a cute, comfy, modern “glam-ping” retreat that seamlessly connects the appreciation of nature to the comforts and convenience of home. The queen bed on the main floor offers beautiful views of the forest and guests will appreciate the amazing, modern shower and lighted mirror in the huge bathroom. The connected kitchen, island with seating and lovely main space are perfect for a nice evening in. Go up the custom made ships ladder to the 2nd floor loft with 2 twin beds, along with a nook desk for our remote workers. Guest needs are met with coffee and basic spices in the kitchen; Standard Textile commercial towels and sheets, and Public Goods shampoo, conditioner and bath wash are ready for you. So, go out and enjoy the grounds, and/or explore the good food, fun bar scene, shops, wineries and excitement of the Wisconsin Dells! The Eagle Cabin will be your calm home base when visiting the Dells!
