Don't pay for upgrades you don't need! This apartment has the basics covered. It is spacious, it is clean, it has a King size bed and the location is fantastic! The address is in the Landmark Historic District on the prettiest street in town!

Garden level apartment of a c1879 Savannah brick townhouse! No stairs. Full kitchen. Linens provided. Parking is free and easy on the street, no permit required.

Walk to Clary's Cafe or Firefly Cafe for meals within 3 blocks of this home. Centrally located, Forsyth Park is less than 0.4 miles south and River Street is less than 0.7 miles to the north!

No more frustrations with neglected or incorrect calendars!! This and all of my other listing calendars are up to date at all times since I exclusively use the HomeAway/VRBO payment system to book the property and each new reservation is instantly added upon payment. If your dates are showing as open that means they really are open.

If you don't mind paying a higher price and prefer to have a dishwasher and more contemporary surroundings please consider listing 345323 or ask Mary for other alternatives.

Please note, at some point in the 1900's the wall on the West side of the house which originally had arched openings into a side garden was fully bricked in to make a solid wall. Therefore 2 of the main windows in the apartment look out into a bricked-in corridor instead of onto the street. This makes for a very sound sleeping environment in the bedroom! But it also cuts back on natural light in the unit. This is part of the reason the rate on this rental is 'budget friendly'. We do not want guests to be unpleasantly surprised when they look out the West facing windows, so we are disclosing this information to consider before booking.

Cancelation Policy: With more than 30 days notice you may cancel and receive a full refund less a $50 cancelation fee. Within 30 days no refunds will be give. Trip cancelation insurance will be offered by VRBO/HomeAway when you pay.

When you book you will download a rental agreement with the address. When you arrive a notebook in the apartment will have the wifi password and other important information.

The owner has lived in Savannah since the 80's and has strong ties to the community here, is involved with the St. Patrick's Day parade and other city events. He loves going to the 1790 pub. His Irish and Scottish ancestors were some of the original settlers in the low country (in South Carolina).

Stately 3 story classic Savannah home, representative of true downtown living and the amazing solid craftsmanship one can rarely find in modern day homes. Ideal location, great price.

The apartment was exactly as described, so no surprises. Easy access and plenty of street parking was available. Very clean with basic utensils to cook a simple meal. Loved the washer and dryer, because we got to wash the running gear from the day's events (Savannah marathon). The apartment was very clean and stocked with supplies. Very well located and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere. Great place.

Dark but quiet

Be sure to keep the front door closed and it will be quiet as can be. The bedroom is quite dark, so set an alarm or you will sleep until 10 like we did! This was a great place for walking everywhere we wanted to be on the prettiest street in Savannah.

Gets the job done!

Clean and a great bed! We didn't spend much time there but it was convenient to do all the walking around we wanted to do. We had one bad night because we could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around and talking loudly until late into night but that wasn't a problem for the rest of the time.

Fun city

We had a great time in Savannah and this was a great place to stay. The unit was clean and more spacious than the photos show. It is close or within walking distance to almost everything we planned to do. I had a few questions for Mary and she responded very quickly. Would recommend this unit to anyone.

Fantastic location within walking distance to 99% of the trip

This was a wonderful apartment for the two of us. It really could comfortably fit 4 adults! We walked to nearly everywhere on the trip. The river streets are just at a mile from the apartment, so everything was super close. Bring good walking shoes, and know that the streets and sidewalks aren't entirely even.

But enough about Savannah! The apartment was fantastic. The bed was comfy, the water pressure and heat was awesome in the shower, and the kitchen had enough kitchenware for general usage. If you wanted to cook a gourmet meal in the kitchen, you wouldn't have everything, but you had enough for a regular meal or snack prep. We enjoyed some time out on the back patio, and that was lovely. The only downside was that the lights weren't working for the outdoor patio, but there was strip lighting and the street lights helped as well.

All in all, lovely place, and should we ever visit Savannah again, this would be a repeat place!

Great place to stay while visiting!!

We loved this place! It was in a good neighborhood and was super clean! The bed was awesome, I even asked where I could buy one for my own house. We had shopped around looking for something inexpensive and could not have been happier. We will definitely be returning and will be recommending it to friends visiting Savannah.

The Historic District is 1-Square Mile. This apartment is in the southeast quadrant of that mile. The River is half a mile away. A very helpful map is on with a 5-minute walking scale.

One block (0.1 miles) northeast of Whitefield Square, one block southeast of Troupe Square. 4 blocks to Colonial Cemetery. 4.5 blocks to Forsyth Park.
