Great upper east side apartment. Perfect location for access to Central Park, the museums, restaurants and shopping. We were there during a heat wave and the 2 a/c units kept us cool and able to sleep well at night. Host was very quick to respond to all questions.

Great location! The apartment was convenient and tidy. Communication and check in was all great! We were grateful that the AC units worked so well. It was quite hot that weekend and the stairs were a bit of a workout. We had 3 people staying there and the couch wasn’t great for sleeping on but it did the job. It was a perfectly nice stay and a great value! My only suggestions for the apartment are a full length mirror and installing a toilet paper holder.

The host was helpful and responsive. We liked the location. A nice neighborhood feel with lots of restaurants around the corner. The beds were extremely comfortable. Two bedrooms!

Clean snd comfortable, but small. It was good fpr the three of us. The stairs had a handrail and were easier than expected. There were lots of restaurants close by, as well as the subway. The kitchen is small and the coffee maker had no carafe, so we had to buy coffee at a nearby cafe every morning. Convenient to central park and museums. A short subway ride to theaters. I enjoyed our stay.

Great location. Straight shot to Central Park (straight east of the metropolitan museum of art). It had plenty of dishes to cook with. It had a coffee maker, toaster, even cookie pans for the oven. Full size fridge. The kitchen was great. It was missing ice trays and a kitchen towel and/or drying rack to place the washed dishes. For the most part it was clean. The bathroom however had some hair on the shower wall. The WiFi connection was terrible with the network that was in the instructions. The network would appear and then dropped, to the point we were never able to log into that network. Communication with the management in regards to the WiFi was readily but inefficient. They gave basic troubleshooting instructions that did not work (like restarting the modem and router, which did not help. It took until the next evening (over 24 hours), for us to convince them to give us the password to the network to which the TV was connected to, since that one was working. They never followed up to see if we got connected to WiFi after all. Located on the fifth floor. No elevators. The key box with the key to enter was located outside the building, next to another 8 boxes. We arrived when it was raining so the bid had lots of water where the key was. I would suggest putting the box upstairs right by the apartment (less confusing). Overall it was a good stay.

When browsing photos of this apt, take note of the placement of that blanket on the white couch. That SHOULD HAVE BEEN my red flag (I suspected hidden stains). All seating area furniture is horribly stained, the shag rug quite stained, my child used a mascara lipstick stained towel, bacteria stained shower curtain (should be white, half is orangey-pink), no toilet paper holder, no towel racks to hang towels to dry, used soaps & toilet paper roll. Only 1 full toilet paper roll, we had to buy toilet paper, paper towels & light bulbs for lamps. Whoever stays there after us: you’re welcome for the nice new Cottonelle toilet paper! The AC units all need service (‘clean filter’ light on both), they run very rough/loud, impedes sleep and shorts out electricity. Only keeps area near units cool. Kitchen, bathroom area stay very warm. The worst part, though, was actually outside the apt (yet it’s just as much part of the stay as the inside). From the entryway, to the staircase and definitely the absolutely disgusting, roach infested hellhole they force you go into to take out the trash! Those common spaces have clearly not been cleaned in decades! No exaggeration. The visible, thick layer of filth and the stench is awful…like a dumpster mixed with stale marijuana cigarette smoke. You’re inhaling that stench as you’re breathing heavier up the 8 flights of stairs in the hot stairwell. I wish there had been an honest review of this place before I booked. The neighborhood is great!

Dropping off bags before check-in ended up taking longer than it should have. We didn’t have towels until the following morning. Dream team rep even had the nerve to ask if we’d even looked for them when we reached out about not having any - Turns out laundry was closed due to holiday and cleaning person failed to mention it. Blender didn’t work which was a bummer since I spent 50 bucks buying stuff to make smoothies. All that and I’m still waiting for my credit payment due to the last minute cancellation of my first reservation.
