We had a great time in this cabin with our Mothers for Mother's Day week. The house was perfect and exactly how it was described. We enjoyed the hot tub several nights after long days exploring the area. The host was amazing with quick answers to questions and suggestions of things to do. Awesome vacation home!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It's a great location, close to all of the attractions but still remote feeling like you're in a mountain getaway! The fireplace warms up the place quick and the hot tub is a great place to unwind. We would definitely book there again!

We’re really happy you enjoyed the cabin and the “mountain getaway” feel while still being close to everything. Glad the fireplace kept things cozy and the hot tub helped you unwind. We’d love to host you again anytime!
The cabin was very cozy. We appreciated the amenities such as cleaning supplies, coffee, laundry detergent and fabric sheets. Loved the fireplace and hot tub! The owners went above and beyond making sure our driveway was cleared after it snowed our first day.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Andrea! We’re thrilled you loved the cabin and had a relaxing stay. The hot tub is one of our favorite spots too! You were a wonderful guest, and we’d be happy to host you again anytime.
The host was very gracious and made my husband birthday getaway very special. The cabin was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable and I want to know where that super soft and brown blanket came from lol. And the hot tub is one of the best things besides the seclusion of the cabin. Will definitely come back and recommend to anyone.

Thank you so much, Christan! We’re thrilled to hear you and your husband enjoyed your birthday getaway and found everything comfortable and relaxing. The blanket has become a guest favorite, it came from Costco! We truly appreciate your kind words and would love to host you again anytime.
The house was amazing, a real log cabin! I do suggest do not try this house without 4wheel drive. It is UP HILL, With just wet leaves we had to put in 4wheel drive. Wonderful stay! Bottom step is loose, other than that we had a fantastic time.

Thank you, Amy, for sharing this feedback. I’m very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations.
We take comments like yours extremely seriously, especially regarding cleanliness and safety. After receiving your review, we had the tub and bathroom fully inspected and professionally cleaned. No active black mold was found, but out of an abundance of caution we had all affected areas deep-cleaned, treated, and sealed, and the hot tub was drained, sanitized, and serviced.
We’ve also:
Replaced any missing lightbulbs
Swapped out older pans for new ones
Reviewed our cleaning checklist with our team to prevent these issues from recurring
This is not the standard we strive for, and I truly regret that your stay fell short. Thank you again for bringing these items to our attention so we could address them promptly.
Thank you so much for the 10/10 rating and for your feedback, Jason! We really appreciate you mentioning the stairs, we’ve already scheduled a repair to make sure everything is in perfect condition for future guests. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again soon!
We really enjoyed staying here and would do so again. I would give it a 4.5 star if that was available on Vrbo. There were a few small things that could have been communicated better either in the listing or in messaging, such as the hosts only providing two trash bags or two rolls of toilet paper. There were plenty of all the needed linens such as towels, pillows and blankets, but not enough hot tub towels. There were a lot of items to cook with but lacking on some dishes such as spoons and bowls. The house is a lot darker than the pictures show (brightness turned up on pics?). My wife did not mind, but I like to have plenty of light. It was rather dim. I think it is important to mention that the driveway is long and extremely steep. Some people might not be comfortable with that if they are not used to mountains. The stairs are also narrow and steep for some people who might have more difficulty with them than others. These are just the things that I think might be important to others who are considering the property. It was a nice stay! Its location is slightly outside of town which makes for easy access to go places. It says it sleeps 8, but there were two fold out couches and an extra blow up mattress so you could reasonably sleep 11 if 3 share the king bed (I had a a kid in it with me). The living room sits 8 and the dining room sits 6. The hot tub is spacious but slow to heat up.

Thanks so much for staying with us and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall and would consider coming back.
We also appreciate the detailed feedback. Notes like this are very helpful, and we’ll use them to improve both the guest experience and the listing details. We’ll review the starter supply communication, add additional hot tub towels, take inventory of kitchen items like bowls and spoons, and make sure the driveway, stairs, lighting, and hot tub heating expectations are clearly described for future guests.
Thanks again for choosing our property. We’re glad you had a nice stay and hope to host you again in the future!
The cabin was exactly as it was described on VRBO. It was a very comfortable place. We have made several trips to the Smokies and other than a day trip to the park and a little shopping in Gatlinburg, we spent most of our week at the cabin. It is a great place for a little R&R. There is only one other cabin in sight. It seems very secluded, surrounded by only trees and a few chipmunks. But it is only a very short trip down to the main road into Pigeon Forge. The hot tub on the back porch was filled with sparkling clean water and ready to use.The cabin was clean, roomy and pretty much perfect for our needs The communication with the host could not have been better. She gave us all the information we needed for a seamless check in and made sure we knew she was available to help with any questions or any issues we may have with the cabin. We would stay there again.
