Amaryl Apartment is located at the quiet end of St Lawrence Gap, which is famed for its restaurants, bars and night life. Our apartment is situated on the first floor overlooking the pool and lush tropical garden. It is approximately 3-4 minutes walk to the popular Dover beach. The beach offers chairs and umbrellas for a small fee. In addition, you can enjoy water sports-diving, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing, paragliding and jet skiing. The apartment has a large private patio, so you can eat in or outside or just relax. There are only 4 units on the complex with communal pool, therefore it is a quiet spot to chill and enjoy the best Barbados has to offer. There are electronic security gates, a security 24 hour alarm system and fully equipped kitchen. We offer our rentals at exceptional value; it is beautiful appointed and well-equipped for families, couples and singles who wish to visit and enjoy a holiday that action-packed or quite and serene. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say we all had a fantastic time staying in Barbados, the apartment was everything we could had imagine and more very comfy, close to the shops and beach, hopefully 1 day we will be back to visit and I really hope we could stay at Ray and Janice's apartment,even our 1 year old daughter enjoyed it, very child friendly place.

I would highly recommend you to all, all the best ray and janice.

Prices for the property is per day and weekly in US Dollars or £ sterling. Price includes maid service once a week, additional cleaning costs at $30 US dollars per day. A deposit of $150 US dollars or £100.00 sterling secures the booking, balance payable 6-8 weeks prior to departure. At the moment the owner does not wish to take any deposit but expect any breakages to be reported to the site manager (Monica) and paid for before leaving the apartment. We rely on your trust.

Convenient location. Well furnished and homely. And most important of all clean & well looked after

A good location - close to the beach, supermarket and nightlife. The apartment was clean and fully furnished with everything you need. Being able to sit out on the balcony was really nice, as it is enclosed and private.

As requested, I opted to keep the fans on as opppsed to the air con. However, the apartment does get really hot and you need to go outside to the balcony to cool down. Having the option of a mosquito net at night would be beneficial. I was only attacked while sleeping. I have absolutely no idea how they were getting in.

The grounds are well taken care of, very pretty and green. I did not use the pool. As my preference was the beach. However, it is a little small and although a pretty setting the space around the pool to layout is a little enclosed. I imagine it would be quite crowded had the other apartments been occupied. Being on my own it was nice to have the security of the gate and the alarm. I was never concerned about walking home alone along 4th avenue but it is not that well lit a street and you have to walk past two empty plots.

Owner's Response: We have taken your comments on board. However, we installed a roof extractor fan and that general used when it is too hot in the apartment. For the mosquito what I always advised previous guests is to spray the rooms before they go out at night with BOP and that kills all the mosquitos within, but they must keep the doors and windows closed on their return. We will look into mosquito nets has requested. Overhaul the pool maybe small but not all guests will be using the pool at the same time and not all the apartments are occupied. We are located at the quiet end of St Lawrence Gap. There are three beautiful beaches including the spectacular Dover beach within a 3-4 minutes walk from the apartment. Our unique apartment is relaxed and informal. It is cheerfully and comfortable furnished with most of the amenities you required is at your disposal during your stay.

St Lawrence Gap is the entertainment hub of Barbados, which is well known for its night-life, dining and shopping.
